  • Perfect job. I've looked with the great pleasure. Thanks.

  • Soooooo beautiful video. Super

  • i don't know if it makes a difference but i always loved anni's sence of humor.she just smiles so much

  • es la primera vez q puedo escuchar éstas canciones, mil GRACIAS por publicarlas, la VOZ de Agnetha es hermosa!!!

  • Beautiful harmonizing!!

  • Brilliant job! Thank you. Have you also done one featuring Frida? Love to see it. She was always seen as playing second fiddle to Agnetha, which she bore with grace, when actually she had a wider singing range (and was a better dancer). But ABBA needed them both equally. No other group compares with them.

  • I don't care what you want to call your video. I watched it and enjoyed the experience.

Great job and thanks for sharing!

  • ABBA very young!

  • @Ms14111984 Well, let me tell you what's wrong with your comment here. You should always read the information provided with my videos because if you had, you'd know that this is my " Top 5 Agnetha and ABBA videos! " Nowhere does it say that this is all about Agnetha! As I recall, SOS and My Love My Life were ABBA songs and sung by all four members of the group! So get your facts straight before you comment on what I've supposedly done wrong in my videos! It will keep me from responding this way

  • Não me canso de ver e ouvir estou sempre aqui ,está em meus favoritos

  • i looking for email to abba

  • At least Benny's and Bjorn's and Anni-Frid's names are in the title of the video. The title probably should have been Agnetha and Friends. Oh well, nice video anyway.

  • Do you know how to read? I'm tired of people saying that this is just about Agnetha...Just in case you weren't aware, SOS and My Love My Life were ABBA songs and my description ( see more info ) does say " Top 5 Agnetha/ABBA songs! Since you think I'm wrong in how I made my video, why don't you tell me exactely what's wrong with it.... this should be interesting!

  • own right

  • I am equally a fan of Agnetha and Anni-Frid, I am just wondering, if Agnetha had dark hair, would she get all the first place comments she seems to get with blonde hair?

  • Who can honestly say how it would be. I personally loved Agnetha's presence on stage and the way she carried herself with quiet dignity....Hair color never really meant a thing when it came to the ladies. Agnetha was the first one I heard perform in 1975 and was my favorite from that point on. Thanks for looking in.

    Peace....Jim~

  • @ji61m Always loved Frida!! Being a Swede a brunette just looked better........

  • The voice of ABBA and the Star of ABBA is Agnetha! No discussion!

  • You have every right to your opinion and what you say is correct, it took all four of them to be a super group. Agnetha however was the favorite of most people with her great voice a bod. That's all I am saying.

  • Agnetha was the heart and soul of ABBA. How hard is that to understand. Yes they were all fantastic but Angnetha had that it factor and still does.

  • I disagree that Agnetha was "the" heart of ABBA. Without the amazing and never surpassed combination of hers and Frida's voices, and the genius of Bjorn and Benny's songwriting and production, Agnetha's own music would likely have never been heard outside of Scandinavia. Together as a quartet they were a force that was stunningly strong. Individually, Agnetha and Frida didn't make so much of an impact on the music world. It always had to be the four of them, otherwise the power wasn't there.

  • I agree with a lot you say, but both Agnetha and Frida were both already great in there on right, they had solo records, they had there own thing before abba, but they did make abba. there would never have been an abba without them.

  • The girl with the golden hair. I love it.

    seabee

  • Very well

  • Agnetha is easily one of the most beautiful women on earth. She radiates a sensuousness, vulnerability, and wholesome goodness rarely seen in such combination. Add to that a gorgeous voice over which she has total control and you get a golden explosion of femininity.

  • I do agree with you,... She is a dream for evry man on earth, talent, charm, vibrant expression in joy and pain, I wish I could wrap my arms around her, ... When I was a kid I thought the swedish girls were the most beautiful on earth and my first girl friend was swedish, although ther are many beautiful girls in other country, she confirms this feeling of my childhood,....

  • I could not agree with you more.

  • I don't get it. It was all about Agnetha. She was 1/4 of ABBA. You didn't feature the rest of the group. There's a missing link somewhere.

  • Geez..........weren't the songs " SOS " and " My Love My Life " ABBA songs....I think they were! And the so called missing link...it's in the video description box. It says that these are my top five Aggy/ABBA songs!

  • Hi Jim,I must have missed this video when you posted it.Great selection. For me it depends on a given situation,or a memory that re-surfaces that recalls good days or bad days.Well done to you, cheers

  • That last picture of her in the vid she looks asian. I always loved her eyes. She's got the kind that are truly a window to her soul. She came into this life to share her gift.

  • Jim, I think this is just a great compilation of songs most people do not even recognize. Pure, pure music; it's what it is all about anyway! When I think of angels singing, I always think of Agnetha and Anni-Frid.

Thanks a lot man, for all your hard work. A million thanks, when you come to think about it.

    JF

  • wondelful women..

  • Great songs and photos!

  • I watch Agnetha sing, or see the various pictures of her, as shown here, then close my eyes and imagine waking up next to her and just watching her sleep. Hell of a fantasy...

  • agnetha is my favorite abba member, but the title is a little wrong for the video. i didnt know i would be hypnotized and now i feel a little tricked. im a busy man and i have work to do! best, JOSHKÅR

  • Hey Josh, can you read?........In the info section, it clearly states that this is my "Top five Aggy/Abba songs " in no particular order. So my question is, why do you feel tricked? Is doesn't say anything in the title about this being all Agnetha! If your so busy, then I suggest you do your work and not watch videos!

    Peace...Jim~

  • And I'm not trying to be a hardass just in case you're wondering!

  • no worries. humor is one of the hardest things to deliver on youtube.

  • lol... I think you misunderstood him... he was complimenting you! (Meaning he popped in for a quick video on ABBA and was mesemorized by the great music and video)... he said in his own way your great show kept him glued to the screen until the end....

  • I'm pretty much old school....that's all he had to say! It's all good...Thanks!

    Peace...Jim~

  • This was very nicely done... great job! And not just this one, but the rest of your work too. I know I have watched many of your 200 of your videos!

    Thank you!

  • Great video. What is the fourth song (the divorce song) called again?

  • Thank you...the fourth song here is called

"My Love My Life", but I've never heard it referred to as the divorce song. I would think that if any would song would be called that it would be "Winner Takes It All". Thanks for looking in.

    Peace...Jim~

  • A line in the song stuck "we go seperate ways - never again we two". Coz I didn't know the title I called it the divorce song.

"Winner Takes All" is with "The Day Before You Came" my favorite ABBA song I think.

  • That's kinda funny - the song was originally about an affair in France (Monsieur, monsier) written in a key too high for Agnetha to sing (so she says in a radio interview with her singing the song in the background). Very pretty song, though. It is on You-tube - give it a listen sometime.

  • Absolutely awesome video, Jim - again!! It's great that one of the best groups of all time has a fan like you who has the experience and the talent to create a tribute such as this, so richly deserved by ABBA!

  • Thank you Tom I really appreciate the great comment. I've been a fan since 1975 and since joining Y/T almost 2 years ago I've experienced a lifetime of ABBA here. I've got over 260 videos to my credit which includes their work before, during, and aftert ABBA. Feel free to stop by anytime, we never close!

    Peace from Iowa....Jim~

  • yes, Agnetha is beautiful :D:D

  • I agree totally with you Karolina. She's as beautiful now as the first time I saw her back in 1975. Thank you for looking in.

    Peace from Iowa (USA)....Jim~

  • agnetha you are beautiful

  • I've watched several of your vids today

    I'll stop here to say

    Its been a pleasure

    excellent work across the board

    Thanks and a toast to

    200 more to come..eventually

  • Thanks Bill. I'm getting closer to 300! I'm at 248 I think....

  • agnetha look now so different, than abba times.... agnetha is the best<3

  • it was great to see ABBA togather again for MAMMA MIA the movie premier in Stockholm. Agnetha still looks great. Frida looks fantastic. Agnetha & Frida the voice of ABBA long live the girls!

  • Very very interesting idea with these songs and these pictures.

I remember all these songs and ofcourse I remember how young I was.

    In conclusion:Many thanks for this

Marius from Romania(very big and old fan of ABBA)

  • Thank you Marius. I've loved Abba (Especially Aggy) since 1974. That's the year I first heard them at our community swimming pool.(They had a big radio to play music over the loud speakers) and I was hooked! This is my way to honour them the only way I know how. All of my videos are made by my own hand, nothing commercial. I thank you for looking in, and feel free to stop by anytime.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Thanks Jim.

Let me tell you something:when I was very young(high school, between 1977 and 1980)we didn't have the right to listen any music, just 2 hours by day TV with Ceausescu comunist family. So,we have unoficially audio tapes and we have made recordings after 9-10 copies

You can imagine the quality but we was so happy to have in our homes ABBA.And this was hapened in a country from Europe

Maybe this is the raison of the frustration of my generation.

I will visit your ABBA melodies

    Thanks

  • You're very welcome Marius. I consider ABBA to be the very sunshine that shines on all countries. But know this, you will be welcome with open arms here, and feel free to stay and enjoy ABBA as long as you like. There are no restrictions here, our door's always open, and the music's always playing! Thank you again for looking in.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Thanks again Jim.

I just read your message and closed the computer,and- if you can believe this- on a TV channel here in Bucharest,at news:at Stokholm at the premiere of the film Mamma Mia the 4 members of legendary ABBA has been dates for the first time after the breaking of the band

    Very interesting,isn't?

    What do you thing?

    Have a nice weekend

    Marius

  • My congratulations with your 200th video. I'm always very pleased with your videos and works. Best wishes!

  • Thank you very much, I really appreciate that. All I do is try to make my next video better (even just a little bit) than my previous video. Thank you for watching.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Congratulations Jim on your 200th, best of luck with the next 200. I'll be watching.

  • Thank you very much Kym. It was a lot of work, but I think I would do it again. This has been fun and at times very frustrating, but to honor ABBA and Agnetha is something I will continue to do.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Congratulations with your 200th video!! And thats a nice top five. I especially love "Man" and ofcourse My Love My Life...Keep up that good work!

  • Thank you Suzanne. It was really tough to choose a top 5, but after a lot of thought this has to be it! You really can't go wrong with just about any song. Thanks again for watching.

    Peace, Jim~

  • I think SOS and My Love My Life would be on my short list too, but there's too many great ones to chose from!

200 vids is certainly a milestone. Congratulations, Jim. All the ones I've seen have been high quality and memorable.

  • These 5 were tough enough to chose so trying to chose a single favorite would be impossible! This list might be different had I not been exposed to some of Aggy's earlier works. 200 video's all made by me. This was certainly a labor of love, but I'd do it all again (I think?) Thank you very much Mike I appreciate everything.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Very well made. I love it xD. The songs are so pretty, just like Agnetha lol. Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you very much. They are my top 5 songs of Aggy/ABBA. It was too hard to pick a favorite, so I thought at least a top 5 was a good solution.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Congratulations Jim,I knew that this video will be fabulous! There are a lot of great Agnethas songs and I'm sure that it was hard to pick the best songs.I have to tell you that I'm proud that I can call you my friend. One more time congrats, you made 200 beautiful videos!

  • Thank you Jacks. I've pretty much knew these were my top 5, but the choices wavered the last few hours until I settled on these! That means a lot to me. I've made some very good friends here in the last year, so lets see what the next year brings shall we!

  • Oh my God! super compilation!I love the sounds you choise. Great pics too at 2'45, 4'56!etc.

This is a SPLEN-DID 200' vid. bravo! and thanks for this 200' good moment.

  • Thank you M. These are definitly my top 5 songs, but it took a lot of time to pick them. The choices I have are enormous and it was very hard to choose! I'm happy that you like it.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Congratulations Jim! 200 WOW. What a great one you came up with also. The compilation was a terrific idea, the songs fabulous and the pictures perfect.(as are all of yours). Thank you for all your time and effort in getting them all together and thank you for getting me personally into the ABBA club. Looking forward to many more.

    Jim

  • Thank you very much Jim. This took me awhile to do, but I really like it. My 5 all-time favorites, but not one stands out the most as a distinct favorite. I'll be around awhile longer I guess!

  • That's the best news I've had today :)

  • congrats Jim!! 200 - that is Big! I know you've put a lot of hard work into making your vids and they've always turned out great. i can see why can't pick one as your fav, Agnetha have made so many fantastic songs :)

    great work my friend!

  • Thank you Sweetheart. It's definitly a stout number to be sure. I think I need a new chair, mine has to many miles on it and isn't real comfortable anymore (or is that me?)anyway, thanks again Elin.

  • Perfect,Jim!!! Excellent idea a compilation for your #200! In fact,it would be impossible to choose only a song for this work. I can imagine the personal effort that was necessary to reach this number and to manage to do this marvellous compilation. 7´30 min that cost to you hours and hours... But they are 7´30 min of pure pleasure for the fans (and how they pass quickly)! So, my friend,I have to congratulate you a lot!!! Keep your "lighted flame"!!! God bless you,Jim!

  • Thank you DJ. I do have a favorite out of these 5 songs, but in fairness to the others, I won't say what it is! One year in 2 days, that's a lot of sit-down time with this computer, but I think it was worth every (almost every) minute! Thank you again DJ.

  • Congrats Jim, Did you ever think you would reach the #200 mark (all your own work too!)

Your an inspiration to us all!

Nice idea on the compliation of your favs for #200

  • Thank you Shay. 200 is really to big a number to consider it a target, but hey I was on a roll! It's been a short year and you've been along the whole way, and I truely thank you for all you've done for me. I couldn't name a favorite (at least not out loud!)

  • Congrats Jim!!

Well done videos then and now, start till the present!

  • Thank you Marielle. I appreciate all you nice comments this past year and I hope you keep watching. I don't know if I could do another 200 video's!

  • That would be 400!Wow!

  • If that's what it took to get them into the "Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame", I'll do it!

  • Make it 500 so they will be on the 1st step!

  • thanks jim for a feast of delight at the temple of agnetha

  • Thank you Bill. All 199 video's rolled up into one big tribute video! It has to be classified as a labor of love, because who else (Well, there are many!) would spend 1 year and a substancial amount of their time paying tribute to the greatest pop band of all time. "We Honor Or We Forget" What would you chose? Thanks again Bill.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Very excellent vid for your #200 Jim! Congratulations on a job well done! I can tell you worked on this one for a while. A lot to put together in one vid, and it is great! Good luck on your next 200!

  • Thank you Dallas. Believe it or not, but I have almost 8 hours invested in this video! 5 different video's spliced together with just the right pics and transitions. I'll bet I looked at all 10k of my pictures to get the one's I wanted! Next 200...I wouldn't do the first 200 again! Thanks again.

  • Sure you would, you are hooked!

  • I'm not so sure Dallas. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this first 200, and the time invested was phenominal! I'll just look ahead to my next one and take it from there!

    Thanks Dallas.

  • Congratulations Jim with all my heart!

Thank You for Your Video Book with all 200 pages, I`ve spent memorably good times here!

And now this brilliant vid and these timeless songs! Invaluable thing!

Hope you didn`t see tears in my eyes...

    God bless You Jim! Goodbye!

  • Thank you sweet Laura. I hope you had a great time visiting and I hope you stay awhile longer! If I see any tears, I'll be happy to dry them for you. Thank you again Laura.

  • I surely had and still have Jim! A while longer? What about a dancing party for your one year on YT? Or for another 100(at least)vids? Then I agree!

    Will you be really?

    Thank you once more Jim!

  • Thank you again Laura. Yes I'll be around for a little longer I guess. As for dancing, I'm way to clumsy for that (But I will slow dance!) And yes, I'd be more than happy to do that for you!

  • I wonder how could you go in only five songs, at least 5 ABBA and 5 Agnetha songs would be easier choise Jim, wouldn`t it? Yes, I know it is a top of your tops! Let me say it one more time - love this! Exquisite choise!

  • I very well could have made this video bigger, like 15 seconds for every song, but I'd still be makling this video and YouTube probably wouldn't let me post the video because it would be too big! Anyway, I'm happy that you like it. Thank you Laura.

  • Great song, good job Jim,

    =)

    /Johan from Sweden.

  • Thanks Johan, It's been a tough road, but I've made it!

    Peace, Jim~

  • And I am the first to comment-is Aggy the prize?. Seriously ,,congrats Jim

    Bill

  • Johan beat you by 19 minutes Bill. But this was a great way to end a year. It will be one year for me on YouTube in 3 days. What a great way to spend some free time! Thanks Bill.

  • Never mind-Dallas posted "kisses of fire" some hours ago and despite now 70 views only I have commented and he has replied, so we have decided to share Aggy!!!!

  • How very diplomatic Bill! There isn't enough sharing going on in the world today! What ever did happen to the 60's? Thanks Bill.

  • Dallas and I rejoined them a few years back-agewise anyway!!!! (and Oh to have have hair to put the flowers in!)

    Kind regards Bill

  • Well Bill, I'll be 50 in a few years so I'm no spring chicken either. You're only as old as you feel, and this place makes me feel great! By the way, there's always room behind your ear for flowers!

  • The brain feels 20 the body nearly 66-nature is unkind-oh to be 20 with what Iknow now!

As for the flower-perhaps a Cauliflower ear! (I'll get my coat!)-"no spring chicken"?-you are a "young whippersnapper"!!!!

  • Dangerous information to be sure Bill! If I had the info back then, I'd be in trouble no doubt about it. As for young whippersnapper...I don't feel like that. I sure wish I did!
