I think you have hit upon lots of valid reasons why Scientology seems so distasteful. We seem to have forgotten about protesting against bullying and coercion in the West since the end of the cold war. Our societies drift into becoming what we once opposed. Thank you for your words - good suggestions. I'll be participating in the protest here in Finland, and will see if I can convince some of my friends to join me. I've been watching lately the testimonies and interviews of various people that left the cult, some from high ranking positions, and it seems that each interview brings new depravity, new horrors, new crimes to light.
