Fantastic. With these two dancers you can savour each step and movement as they are matched to the music.Granted, the tempo is slow here but that only helps to see what is normally hidden. Many other partnerships simply struggle with the difficulty of this solo and somehow the scene is all over before you know it, sometimes can even be a bit boring. Not so here - perhaps for the first time I understand the choreography properly.

still can't actualy beleive i am seeing her live in July.... I feel so lucky! She was my first ever idol when i became serious about ballet. she is the most amazing dancer, even if she isn't as flexible as zakharova, whom i also love.perfection: these two dancers- Lopatkina and Korsuntsev- are the most perfect match ever in ballet. and the fact that i get to see both of them at the The Royal Opera House... i feel so inspired.

I adore Lopatkina and this version of the pas de deux.... but my all time favorite swan and prince still remain Zakharova and Bolle!
