  • many young black men die every day by the gun therefore will was trying to break the loop or the revenge killing by young black men and that is whole point of this episode.

  • @hyotow im afraid so, and as long as this still happens, it is just going to be another problem forever.

  • @iNeVeRShOOt It's actually pretty obvious how...

  • 3:58 damn that tear was on point.

  • @qwer1234555sd The hell were you speeding so fast?

  • WILLY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • i haven't cried so many manly tears since The Lion King...

  • my fav part i was gonna eat that man.....

  • So when he took the gun, he looked like he was about to shoot himself in the head

  • You Mad Bro?!

  • I don't know why but 13 years after I must have seen this episode ,today of all days I remembered this scene from that episode and I wanted to watch it.Thanks for putting it up.

  • What's Will going to do with the gun in the hospital?

  • @petey8887

Will isn't going to use the gun, he just wanted it away from Carlton. He'll probably get someone to throw it away later.

  • ......... i waas gonna eat that man hahahaha

  • that was so dumb of him to just toss the gun on the bed like that. it could have gone off and shot will in the ankle or something.

  • @TheJazzyjaz2009

Um, most likely because it's carlton it wasn't even loaded, and/or the safety would have been on. guns don't just 'go off' unless you have the safety off of it.

  • @MelodySaki If anything it was the safety, we see Will remove the bullets

  • Comment removed

  • so, Will asks to be put into the will and then takes Carlton's gun?

    Conspiracy...

  • Awkward silence

  • rip scottie pippen

  • I think in any story to draw you in you must get them through several emotions. The fastest way to make someone cry, is first to let them get to know you through laughter so when you do cry it is the most saddest thing anyone has ever seen.

That's my thoughts, after watching Carton's dances and Will's screams I laughed then I come and watch this and it makes you feel something altogether different

  • @LUVSAILOROMANCE That's very true, this makes it so much more powerful. Maybe that's why the crying clown is a big icon.

  • Amazing acting. they dont make shows like these anymore. Im proud i grew with shows like these.

  • @Smokeherbs718215 It's weird, I agree with you & I'm not agreeing just to agree like some. I agree with you because nowadays they have REALITY shows. I don't want to watch someone's life be decimated just for me to be entertained. I think its sad. I just think they need prayer & time alone & that time alone does not consist of me turning in every week OR gossiping about someone's life.

It's just me, I'm not judging anyone else who LIVE for those shows.

  • i love will smith, he is the best actor there is!

  • whats this episode called?

  • low Quality??? this is taken straight from the TV lol

  • whats the name of this episode and what season is it from

  • @TeamJacobx12 Bullets Over Bel Air

  • Classic! TOTAL CLASSIC!

  • will smith is turely talented he got that type of emotional yell that will have you crying, scared, laughing and surprised.

  • 5:25 they fucked

  • @TheFatty2497 because Carlton could of gotten himself killed if he kept the gun and tried pulling it ever in that situation.

  • Carlton doesn't know that Will saved his life again the minute he took the gun from him.

  • @WangerBrah how?

  • @WangerBrah how did that save his life?

  • this was the scene i realized that will smith was an incredible actor. i laughed at the beginning and i couldn't hold in my tears at the end. amazing <3

  • 2:43 "I was gonna eat that, man."

  • Comment removed

  • what season is this

  • All about subtlety. That's how it worked. They didn't pull off some last-minute jokes after all of that. They kept it just how it should be. That's how it's done.

  • I remember how this episode had an impact on me. Just like the one where Will and Carlton got stopped by the police because they were driving a nice car that their neighbor said they could take down to some vacation.

  • I Looked Up this Video Just to Watch Will Say..." I Was Gone Eat that Man" Lmao part Too Funny

  • I was gonna eat that man -__-

  • u damn onions ii knew this was a bad time to chop

  • damn you Will making me cry

  • "I was gonna eat that man"

  • i dont get dis scene could someone please explain

  • @RoboVic1 this episode will and carlton go to a atm to withdrawal money and some guy mug them and shoot at carlton and will jump in the way and save his life

  • What episode is this?

  • just on nick!

  • so much emotion

    :,(

  • Comment removed

  • the only show that combined comedy w/ emotion as well as this was a cartoon called Avatar the Last Airbender

    that's sad

  • if you stood in front of me it could have hit me bellybutton and up

  • Always though Will should've won an emmy for this episode.

  • I love this episode! Will is a great actor!

  • Out of all of the episodes I've ever watched, this scene was the one that stuck out to me most. Being able to love someone so much that you would actually take a bullet for them... I don't know, but Will Smith did a beautiful job representing that love

  • I remember when stiff like this used to come on nick @ night.....smh...

  • @PeaceMaker137 Bullets over belair

  • this deserves an oscar

  • His TV sucks...

  • 2:35 wills like "well there goes my food"

  • Wheww Yeahhh!!! *claps hands for like an hour long* This scene was amazing. Also it was the most ganster Carlton ever got lol

  • Real shit.

  • Will Smith stealing another scene. He's awesome.

  • anyone watch this on VIVA?

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Twice

Two and a Half Men Twice

    Miss Southpark

    Jerseyshore

  • wat episode is this

  • i was all caught up in the emotion until i realized that will has a french manicure :)

  • I was fine until will raised his voice and cried :(

  • @SarahBohun4 thats the same part that got me too.:(

  • @BrettUpton1 : i agree! i hate wat they put on now -___-

  • mann will smith is one talented dude. Cant hate anything hes in

  • I hate when the audience laugh or they use laugh tracks on serious moments on tv shows.. It just throws everything off...

  • You know the two shows I watched that helped me to grow was Hey Arnold and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. So much nostalgia.

  • @FGCVJ I know right?! :)

  • "I SAVED UR LIFE. U OWE ME!!! Give me the gun, Carlton!" I almost broke down again. Will Smith is a baaaad man...smh. Then, he had the nerve to BREAK DOWN & cry?! The silent cry was enough. Check mate! LOL!

  • I dont know why but 90s shows were much funnier and they werent afraid to stay stuff like dope, virgin etc...

  • We really need to get shows like this back on the air. TV has just become a sea of crap over the years.

  • @BrettUpton1 amen to that, we definitely need shows with this kind of material, especially since even the cartoons for young kids are crap

  • whenever will cries i really cant help but cry too

  • @cutiequeen761 I think it's because he's such a jovial guy that when he's hurt and crying you just feel his pain.

  • @FGCVJ that true

  • @thakidwill what episode is this?

  • Lol. I was gonna eat that, man. :/

  • You will not see this in most, or any comedies in today's era. Sad really :( this video is some if not the best acting i have ever seen.

  • @antd2008 Will Smith is a great actor man, Fresh Prince was a really great show. it gave a little bit of everything, comedy for sure, but also real life shit.

  • Comment removed

  • Lol

  • Anyone else get reminded of the Dark Knight?

  • made me cry!

  • @marylovecast me too, lol like a baby!

  • i watched this video

  • Will ALWAYS had Carlton's back. Here he's the one that's recovering from a gunshot wound, and he still manages to talk Carlton out of something stupid.

  • I was gonns eat that maan

  • 2:14 start of the best drama scene ever to air on television

  • Fresh Prince is the best show to ever air on television! The crap out now ain't half as funny or even meaningful as this!

  • love how carlton's back to normal in the next ep

  • what is this ep

  • @RkoUchiha It's called "Bullets Over Bel-Air", from Season 5.

  • wow from comedy to drama in one big shot :O

  • some dank shit

  • Probably the best slice of life sitcom in history.

  • I think will smith is the ONLY one who could lighten the mood in a situation like this

  • i saw dis today on tbs but i like this scene !!!!

  • @1414SuperBrittany I like it too I saw it on ABC Family before the show became a Sunday morning only show this scene almost made me cry

  • This is so touching

  • I just watched this episode today. Trully very deep

  • carlton looks like a killer

  • i haven't seen too many of his recent films, but will smith is a damn good actor

  • This showed that will smith isnt just a funny character; it showed his is truly a one of a kind actor which is why is one of the greatest in his generation

  • For all the cam users that feel like they need to post this kind of ...one thing is said Stop just stop

  • Hilary never got any "human scenes" Too bad because I would've to see if Karen had any skills beyond playing the dumb bimbo.

  • This was the most emotional episode i remember

  • I like how there wasn't any music of major editing noticeable in this scene.

Nowadays, everything has to have dramatic music, and close-ups.

What happened to letting the audience feel the emotion for themselves instead of being spoon fed?

  • May someone tell me what episode this is from please? I'd love to watch the whole thing

  • @GrandMasterPikachu bullets over bell air

  • I was gonna eat that man...

Everything's a damn joke to you!

Lmao, I know this is a serious scene but this part is toooooo funny!

  • this show was really a work of art. the overall plot was well thought out and it didnt have any of the stupid and degrading SHIT in the media today. man, it was funny!! no stupid reality stars getting laid acting like idiots just to be on tv. on top of all that it had meaning, and the emotional parts werent just sad but relatable. now all we got is dumbass jersey shore and kardashian whores. what is this world coming to?

  • @lola1emily you obviously dont watch television man, there are plenty of shows that have characters one can relate to... im not saying media has not gone downhill but jersey shore and keeping up with the kardashians are not the only shows on television

  • @lola1emily am glad you said that i think people forget that tv dont have to be real and relatable, so they just sick some whores, dumasses and other shit and call it a show when really THIS IS A REAL SHOW WITH A REAL MEANING!

  • @lola1emily they wanna dumb everything and and everyone down to a glop of primordial ooze as a distraction so you dont\'t notice how truly screwed up the world is!!....ignorance is bliss right??....that's why nothing on t.v has any substance or any intrensic value, you're force fed fast food media!!

  • @lola1emily shup.

  • @lola1emily They had shows like that while this was airing as well... what about Jerry Springer?

  • what episode?

  • how come this is the only part of this episode that I can find???? I wanna C the WHOLE episode I try 2 keep on finding but I cant. can someone please help me??

  • @nighthorse17 I saw it on TV. That's the only possible solution I can give you.

  • this show mainly has three kinds of jokes...fat joke, short jokes, and pick up lines(: and theyre alllllll hilarious ! :D

  • will at 2:36 as if to think ''DAMN THAT WAS MY DINNER AND SHIT!''

  • ' I was gonna eat that man ' LOL.

  • i heard a friend tell me over 2 million americans use guns in self defense every year. im far too ignorant to research it myself and im anti gun so i dont care what he says guns should be banned and we need more gun control

  • @pervertedpenguin69 line up for shearing little lamb...

  • And he saves his life for a second time....

  • @bigashy77 When? I haven't seen every ep.

  • @trekkie441 There was another episode where Carlton took drugs which he thought was headache medicine and Will took him to the hospital. In the end, they were actually Will's pills though.

  • y he cryin

  • You owe me denzel training day

  • whats this episode called?

  • i remember this episode freaked the hell outta me.

  • it broke ma hrt 2 see ma Will cry

  • I'm glad this show's still at least on TBS.

  • wat is the name of this episode

  • lol the face on 3:34

  • It's not on Nick at Nite anymore :(

  • Nick At Night....Good Times..

  • @poolshark101386 He cried because he came to a realization that his cousin life would have been ruined by using that gun or getting himself killed.

  • I loved how the show had Will and Carlton playing antagonists roles against each other but they always found a way to show the essential love they had for each other.

  • god i love will smith

  • will is one of the most amazing actors ever as a teenager did you see the emotion that he was able to pull out of that scene. absolutely believable. Team Will.

  • @soymiguelalejandro23 yes i agree great acting by will smith but he wasnt a teenager when he did this show he was in his 20's

  • @lakersfan1974 thanks, still amazing just as well. Team Will. : D

  • THIS IS WHAT MAKES A SHOW GOD FOR A LIFE TIME

  • this was on nickelodeon?

  • @kieferstar It was originally on NBC but they ran reruns on Nick at Nite.

  • every time i see will cry i cry :'( i loved this show ;-;! and I love you Will! : )! <3!

  • Will Smith is the most talented actor I've ever seen hit hollywood.

  • In the past there was stuff like this.

    Now there's Jersey Shore.

    How far media has fallen.

  • @jjilatt123 fuck the media

  • @jjilatt123 damn right man....

  • @jjilatt123 how dare you compare Fresh Prince of Bel Air to Jersey Shore!!

  • @jjilatt123 Why is everybody liking this? I agree that they need to make more shows like this, family matters, and others but this is a sitcom Jersey Shore is a reality show...

  • @jjilatt123, you can't really compare the two. They're whole different genres, aimed at different audiences, aired on different stations, even.

  • I think Carlton should have kept the gun and looked for this mugger and put a bullet in his head or threaten him with a gun, that way the mugger will never prey on the innocent no more I wish there were more vigilantes in this country to destroy the evil that men do, not just put them in jail, but get rid of them to show other criminals it will not be tolerated.

  • @germophobe14 that would never work, you watch too many movies.

  • @germophobe14 But who are we to decide another mans fate? It is just as Will said, that isn't us, it is them. We must be bigger and stronger individuals by seeking fair, yet firm justice without violent bloodshed.

  • Mabye so but to fight the cancer ( evil) you have to kill it at the root. We as humans can not live in fear. Plus I am of the mind set that let's say I did track down that mugger, I would tie him up and teach him that it is not nice to steal people's money and then shoot them, then I would record it and show all the criminals of the world that everyman reaps what he sows. I am probably wrong but if we did get revenge on the mob, the the KKK and the terrorist it would be a safer country.

  • @Maskedrider1092 how do u do that?

  • @germophobe14

An eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind.

  • @dou haha, modern warfare much?

  • Well mabye but at least the world will be safer. At least innocent people will be safe and the guilty will be punished. I don't know if you know the comic book character The Punisher, but I wish there were more people like him, working to get rid of all the evil individuals that plague society. Your absolutely right it will make the whole world blind but our justice system isn't working someone has to step up and punish the guilty and protect the innocent. And what i mean about punish is......

  • Make them sorry make the guilty wish they were dead make them feel the torment of a billion souls make them feel the agony of eternal guilt. Then after all that grant their wish and kill them with extreme violence. Either by hanging, drawn, and quartering, or by throwing them to hungry lions.

  • @Handymandy01 carlton & badass in the smae sentence is pretty funny lol
