  • Shit ... Music for people that don't know what music is ....

  • I'm a musician. I didn't see any of them really unmistakably playing. The flautist? these are very lo-fi instruments and there's NO WAY to record them perfectly -- I sang w/Enya once --- 8 girls -- we were lipsyncing and so were the violins etc... on Letterman. This is also a pre-recorded MIDI Protools -- inst.'s played on keyboards. Then "illustrated" with costumed young look alikes who may indeed BE musicians, but what u hear is not what they play.

  • @heidiberg19 MIDI protocals wtf! Do you know that's how this was made... where you there watching as they made it? I didn't think so. Maybe one person faked it this way but that doesn't mean they all do. Just because an insturment is old fassioned and 'lo-fi' as you so poinently put it doesn't mean it can't be microphoned so it can be heard through auditorium! How do you know what we hear isn't what they're playing!

  • @heidiberg19 i play the flute, erhu, and the upright bass. when playing live jazz in the big band, i use specialized microphones that clips to the flute and bass. the sound is adjusted on the soundboard just as it is with all the soloists that require a mic. people listen to our performances for the improvisation factor, therefore nothing is prerecorded.

just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it doesnt exist.

  • i can't imagine how they could play so well like this. i love them

  • so well

  • jadoreeee <3

  • Is there a video of them playing Clocks?

  • @AdmiralGST

    Yes, and it's a great cover :-)

You can see "Clocks" by 12 Girl Band here in YouTube:

    .. watch?v=ScEKUg35exM

    All the best from Portugal!

  • @rsilvaYT That is this video though, did you post the wrong link?

  • So unique. I love it. :)

  • this sound on vietnamese

  • 10 people don't know how to appreciate the uniqueness of CHINESE INSTRUMENTS

  • Name of this song, please!!

  • @biggdragon

I have an mp3 of it called Victoria's smile

  • @biggdragon

I have an mp3 of it called Victoria's smile(although mine sounds slightly different but still essentially the same song)

  • I hear a sequencer running and providing most of the music. Very little of that music is coming from the stage! Great show! it's called entertainment.... David in Raleigh NC.

  • Je to veľmi pekné,pozdravujem

  • @canon888888 Agreed partially after reading somewhere about the technical aspect of the east and west instruments and I realize how skillful are these 12 musicians. They're playing songs with their "less superior" ancient instrument yet produce far-excellent sound than the so-called "superior" instrument. This is only possible with skill and talent.

After viewing some of their clips, I'm now a BIG fan of 12 Girls Band.

  • @AlloBruxelles Huh!!! I work for this band??!! I hope I'm damn lucky man!

Enjoy your 21 century man! I will be very exciting, and more to see how rest of the world will see a good show on a war-loving country.

  • Why such a beautiful music here is flooding with hated comment? Cool man! Enjoy this beautiful music brought to us. If you don't like this band or music, simply go away.

There're so many other interesting things to do.

  • Hohoho!!! Somebody keep saying this Band is a copycat of Bond. The same guy even insult these girls were picked by their look instead of skill and talent. Without checking further on their album, he even ponted out this Band infringe copyright of this song. I leave this open to the rest of the fan to judge.

By the way, I'm neither Chinese nor working for this Band. But I support good thing in this world, including western music.

    Enjoy your "world".

  • I think nobody like someone here putting nasty, biased, narrow-minded and racist comment here. This guy simply cannot accept fact of other peoples are better than them. The poster please delete those comment saying such and thinking the world is still under their control acting like an international policemen. No wonder the rest of the world hate them so much and can sacrifice their own life to bomb them.

  • @karmlan123, You're right! No need to do anything, the rest of the world can see and think. That nasty comment will eventually marked SPAM and self-deleted. Thanks!

  • @AlloBruxelles From all your words, it clearly say where you're coming from. Enough! No point to discuss with you. Thank you! KNS!!

  • camel toe at 1:32...lovely

  • Awesome. Love and Peace from IRAN!

  • They play very well, I loved the song,it is my first time that I saw chinise music, I can't say that is bad

  • @vieira56 Thank you. Hope it is an Eye-Opener for you. Once mastered, Chinese instruments is very versatile.

Try their other song, I'm sure you will fall in love with them.

Try Carnival, Forbidden City, Ruten, all these should shock you and drop yr jaw on the floor!. Thanks!

  • @Rexicano OH MY GOD!!! YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS!!! OR YOU'RE A STUPID RETARD!!!

  • @Rexicano no...no... music is always the main part of our lives and i would appreciate this video....jzpatelut......

  • @Rexicano Thank you very much for your reply ...you see how can i be your friend..!!.....jzpatelut.....

  • sempre que posso vejo seus vidios sao todos muito lindos.

  • Superbe...

  • @blackheart0012, Sorry to dig the fact that the presentation of 12 lady musicians on stage started since Tang Dynasty in China.

Bond? to me they're not serious musician. Musics are played by background established band, while they prance around the stage, shaking, twisting their half-naked body. They're simply no match to 12 Girls Band and is 12,323,222,323 miles behind if you insist to compare.

Sorry to be blunt and no offending just feel unfair if 12 Girls Band are to put together with Bond.

  • just respect to art so nice...

  • ah u people do realize that this band does covers of western music right? so i wouldn't really call it an imitation of Bond, it's just a new take on it.

and ur right this isn't Chinese music... this is a fusion of Western and Chinese music meant to bring together the two cultures.

  • הן פשוט נפלאות אהבתי מאוד

    ג.עטרה מכל הלב

  • i mean the original conductor, i don't think the 12 girls made this piece.

  • Masallah be Masallah ,12 girls ....:)

  • can u give me the name of the piece and conductor of the original... plz and thx

  • Beautiful

  • master piece

  • @tristank1 It's an indian song...........search "Deewana Tera Hai" and you will find this song.........BTW great insrtumental version of this song.

  • AMAZING!!!!! LOVE IT!!! BRAVO!!

  • 12 girls - and a 4 piece fully-equipped and amplified rhythm section (keyboards, drums, bass-guitar, rhythm guitar).

Wonder what they sound like without the backup?

  • Wow! Fantastic!

  • @twice49, IMITATION??!!!! Or you are joking??

Do you know the stage presentation of this style has been in China since its ancient time when your great grand parents were wearing banana leaves?

This musicians obviously does not suit those which prefer watching half-naked sexy girls prancing, shaking and twisting their sexy body on the stage in-front of another backing musical band.

For pure music lover, our ears can judge and wont tell lies.

  • @karmlan123

Surely you mean well and I appreciate your intent. But THIS is not Chinese style music.

  • @jumponthebandwagon, Friend read carefully, I'm saying this presentation style (with 12 women musicians on stage) has been displayed since Song dynasty in the palace. It is not difficult to think deeper, how can there be modern-drums and guitars in the background with microphones and loud-speakers available during those days. I brought this up because there's an ridiculous idiot saying this is an imitation of BOND.

  • so good ๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ

  • impressive ; wonderful, great

  • מוסיקה מדהימה.

רק הסינים עם המשמעת העצמית הגבוהה שלהם יכולים ליצור שלמות כזאת.

  • That's this music name?

  • Absolutely beautiful. Pitch is excellent and thay play as if just a single musician. They're actually LISTENING to what's happening around them, musically. Again, beautiful!

  • xidow

  • Il faut qu'elles viennent en France. Elles sont sublimes

  • For me it was actually Jarre's "Concert in China" esp. "Jonques in the harbour" that showed me how lyrical Chinese classical instruments could be....

  • superbe la video et la musique j'adore merci ouha

  • Yahahaha this is refreshing!

  • They're also very pretty!

  • Imagine touring with these 13 girls (yes, they are 13 not 12)... On the morning the bathroom would be so crowded there'd be a need for a trafic police directing the trafic ^^

  • PangPrego you're so cute with good imagination. But don't worry, these musicians are god-send for us to enjoy their musics. They're angels, so angels don't go bathroom. Haha!

  • Excellent postings - thanks very much zunkun - the world will definitely enjoy this .....

  • Actually, being in this group is a sacrifice of musical talent. Most of them come from the Central Conservatory of Beijing, where the group is not particularly respected. Why? Because they have studied the nuances of real Chinese traditional music for many years, but now they can only play accompanied by MIDI drums and bass. At least they have been successful in finding a niche and digging into it.

  • amadeus229, I can only agree partially..

Without 12 Girls Band, perhaps nobody know about these instruments do exists.

Without them, most youngsters do not listen to traditional Chinese song.

At least I see now thousands and thousands of viewer-hits daily, watching them at YouTube are non-Chinese and youngster all over the world.

Keeping traditional is good for die-hard pure listener, but may not spread fast or acceptably by people worldwide.

  • I agree with cannon888888

i didn't know these instruments existed until i heard their beautiful music. the music really touched my heart

  • @canon888888 fiquei apaixonado pelo cintronismo e pela paixao que vs demontrao em apresentar um grande abraço.

  • @carlosrmorais000, Hi sir, may I know what language is this?

  • @canon888888 I agree with you even though it been a year after you giving out comment :) I just found this tradition music when I was trying to search how to play flute...and this music was the best I been searching for, for so long. I can't believe that something I try to look for a long time ago and it actually appear in front of my screen now :). I love old tradition music and i'm only in my 30 :). rap and raggae I don't listen to anymore. Prop to this girls is a PLUS

I had to scroll through 6 pages before I found some one who realized that what you is not a tribute to or a way to appreciate the tonal qualities of these classical Chinese instruments, none of this is heard when you have a bounce-the-ball electronic drum beat over riding everything in a commercialized pop music setting.

    Please re-read what amadeus559 wrote.

  • amaziinngg....

  • can somebody send me this song, cant find it

    :(

  • Se llama "victory", el problema es que hay varias versiones :S

    Suerte

  • did de you need

  • i allready got the song;) but thanks anyway:)

  • BRAVO!!!!!!!

  • siete le mie preferite!!

  • my favorite song from them

  • Sweet babe,great music! l like it!

  • repair your eyes....

  • das is eine komposition von Bach

  • no they dont o.0

  • im asian and i look liek other people soem nations look alike.....reason why most asians marry other asians america its interacila so u dont see europeans and americans all the same....XD not twins lol

  • I think they are great and I love the fact their playing traditional instruments,

  • this is hindi song they remix this music in chinese instrument. but they play realy well.

  • please name of this song ??

  • victory by bond

  • Bond can NO WAY compare with this highly talented musical band. They're different type. 12 Girls Band show off talent, skill, co-ordination. They're trained and picked from 1.3 billion people. Most important, they're serious with their instruments.

  • What she means is that the song is originally from Bond. In my opinion Bond has great talent. Don't underestimate one for the other.

  • I'm Shocked that Victory is originated by Bond!!??!! I heard Victory since 30 years ago. Do you know how old are those Bond girls?

  • I really don't know about the piece's origin. You really shouldn't underestimate Bond with comparing them with 12 Girls Band. Bond are also professionals with tons of practice. They are both highly talented and their music is enjoyable. What else do you want?

  • You misunderstood. Bond is good. I saw their concert. I like their body twising and shaking while playing the violin. They're good. Very good! But music lover like me and many others, I know what I want. 12 Girls Band gaves me what I've been looking for after listening to all kinds of musics for 40 years. Thank you!

  • please name of this song ??

  • They play well!

  • Bond Girl is better, more strongfeeling for me

meybe these unknow piece just can't do that kind of job.

  • can't compare, simply different version, i like both.

  • maybe the backgroung different, Bond always have havey backgrounds it really needs for this kinka song.

but violins got 4 strs n er hu only 2 still del such rich sound, its kinda amazing

  • If you like shaking body and showing off sexy appeal, go for Bond. For majority of us here, we take Twelve Girls Band for their real talent and professionalism. FYI, I went to both girls concert, let me tell you, the Twelve Girls Band is for music lover while the Bond is for their shaking and dancing.

  • my favorite out of all 20

  • i think this is a classical piece, what is its name and who is the composer? Is it Bach?

  • @AlloBruxelles Thanks for the joke! The group you mentioned can't compare with this musicians.

  • @AlloBruxelles I think karmlan123 is ABSOLUTELY right! These musicians really mastered their instruments and selected from thousands of candidate.

I've attended the "Bond" concert. Let me tell you the truth. They're just prancing around the stage wriggling their sexy bodies while letting the back-stage orchestra or sound-track do almost all the sound. I wasted my money and time attending the concert.
