I love how he gets a kick out of the fans, I really do. He tolerates our overly-enthusiastic (but well deserved) appreciation of him very well. He seems to me one of the most genuine people in this world. I wish I could meet him just to tell him how much I appreciate who he is, how he has influenced me.

Today, i saw the film. Very nice to see Leonard Nimoy again as Spock. But i hope, that in the Future comes a Star-Trek Film with all old actors.

I think it would feel a little empty without Scotty and McCoy... though I really do wish that were possible, that would be REALLY cool...

If u seriously want 2 understand Trek,try to c original tv series in order,then movies in order but stop at the 1st 1 w/Patrick Stewart, then Next Generation tv series (u can skip 1st 2 yrs or so),then P. Stewart movies,then the 2009 movie.

I am amazed and glad that after all these years Mr. Nimoy still has such a wondergul attitude and regard towards his involvment with the Star Trek universe. I repect the man even more for such a positive outlook and attitude.

I think he will grow into it. His face isn't as masculine as Nimoy's but he can't be the exact Nimoy Spock we've known for decades- & he's a good actor & seems to take his role & involvement in Star Trek seriously. (We'd accept no less.) He also has a good relationship with Leonard Nimoy.

I think not, there's a water mark of Fantastic Fest on the vid who are the guys co presenting the event. The video guy must have been told what will happen so he knows when to shoot and he got everything I wanted to see (besides the film of course)

Because this is modern Trek . This universe is also suppossed to be our future. The Beastie Boys still existed in their past. I think it's great they are referencing pop cultural history in the movie. I mean why would nobody in the 23rd century still like the song? If they still listen to Mozart and jazz , they can still listen to The Beatles, The Stones, Nirvana or Beastie Boys etc. Doesn't make sense not to.

No fucking way anyone filmed the movie at this event, that was the fucking world premiere....i mean, the audiency probably had to undress everything before entering the cinema - this introduction and the chat at the end where surely authorized.....
