I love how he gets a kick out of the fans, I really do. He tolerates our overly-enthusiastic (but well deserved) appreciation of him very well. He seems to me one of the most genuine people in this world. I wish I could meet him just to tell him how much I appreciate who he is, how he has influenced me.
What a wonderful surprise. It's good to see Nimoy again. He was wonderful in the film & I hope to see him in other things in the future. I hope his stint in Fringe will be a good one.
I think it would feel a little empty without Scotty and McCoy... though I really do wish that were possible, that would be REALLY cool...
Plus, Kirk's supposed to be dead right? Maybe not, I'm relatively new; I just heard that somewhere. =| (Not William Shatner; Kirk. Don't shoot me please. ;-;)
@YuyuPrincess411 I know u posted this comment a year ago but I just saw it. (If u look below this note in your inbox I think u'll c a link that says 'See All Comments'- u can click on that &go there 2 refresh your memory about what u said I'm replying 2.) If u seriously want 2 understand Trek, try to c original tv series in order, then movies in order but stop at the 1st 1 w/Patrick Stewart, then Next Generation tv series (u can skip 1st 2 yrs or so),then P. Stewart movies, then the 2009 movie.
I am amazed and glad that after all these years Mr. Nimoy still has such a wondergul attitude and regard towards his involvment with the Star Trek universe. I repect the man even more for such a positive outlook and attitude.
@sondano (Since your comment I'm replying to was from 8 months ago, to refresh your memory about what I'm replying to, you can look for the 'See All Comments' link belown my comment in your inbox & go there.) I think he will grow into it. His face isn't as masculine as Nimoy's but he can't be the exact Nimoy Spock we've known for decades- & he's a good actor & seems to take his role & involvement in Star Trek seriously. (We'd accept no less.) He also has a good relationship with Leonard Nimoy.
Well at least I get sneak peek at the end credits LOL. Like the new look of the Dolby logo at the very end of the video. Wow what a treat to see Leonard Nimoy popping in with the print. Only 19 days now till STAR TREK plays at the EMPIRE Leicester Square on the most powerful THX sound system JBL 56KW May 7th Ill be there 56KW JBL THX!
and the sequel is in the works. reelz chanel showed the villain for the second star trek as a klingon raised by rhomulyns. if you think its bull, go to to reelz channel and see for yourself.
Now that he's starred in another movie (I suppose you can still say it's in the Star Trek franchise) he'll have to write a third autobiography! How about "I am Spock, but Bill's not Kirk" ?
I think not, there's a water mark of Fantastic Fest on the vid who are the guys co presenting the event. The video guy must have been told what will happen so he knows when to shoot and he got everything I wanted to see (besides the film of course)
Because this is modern Trek . This universe is also suppossed to be our future. The Beastie Boys still existed in their past. I think it's great they are referencing pop cultural history in the movie. I mean why would nobody in the 23rd century still like the song? If they still listen to Mozart and jazz , they can still listen to The Beatles, The Stones, Nirvana or Beastie Boys etc. Doesn't make sense not to.
unlikely pop/rock has a proven short lifespan and classical music has a proven long lifespan Vivaldi's Four Seasons was composed in 1723!! noone today would deny that it's a work of genius at the same time who likes Heartbreak Hotel or Jailhouse Rock today? a small minority
In respect for Trek, I doubt he did. Plus, would you really want to watch the whole movie, on a crappy low quality shaky camera on your computer, or actually witness it in the theater when it comes out?
If he filmed the whole movie, I'm going to hunt him down and kill 'em. That's incredibly disrespectful to the extremely hard work and sacrifice that the film makers devoted to this project.
No fucking way anyone filmed the movie at this event, that was the fucking world premiere....i mean, the audiency probably had to undress everything before entering the cinema - this introduction and the chat at the end where surely authorized.....

I like beef354's idea of a third Nimoy autobiograpy. My title suggestion is:
I'm still Spock. And you could go on with Quinto's autobiograpy: I'm Spock, too.

LOL Yeah!

Spose not, then again it's hard to stack an actor against a fictitious character that doesn't actually exist :/...
