  • thats one tenacious Pike.

  • We found a striper with a pretty big large mouth in its mouth, head first, the striper had tried to eat the large mouth and they both suffocated.

  • Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom!!!!!! Pretty common sight when fishing in the BWCA, lol.

  • now someone should catch a perch then a walleye then a pike

  • TWO FISH WITH ONE HOOK.

  • At first I thought that was a 25 pound pike. Then I saw the walleye he grabbed was less than 10 inches long :(

  • Man this brings back memories. I haven't been up to see my Minnesotan relatives in a long while. Watching this makes me think of Lake Saganaga. Cheers!

  • almost

  • Oh brett...

  • Walleye is my favorite fresh water fish for dinner.

  • @skeazle try fried whitebass

  • I want to see a battle royale between a pike, a walleye, and a muskie!

  • BWCA?

  • thats one lucky walleye

  • well the walley is way better than pike well eating wise but thats my opinion

  • OMG, you had the opportunity to get both fish. but decided not to grab the pike.

  • that's a big zander XD

  • Woooooow that was so cool

  • And a shark comes up and eats the pike! :D

  • @16TheGotohell

a big catfish would be,at least, kind of possible

  • @motombocolombo you would need a very very huge catfish

  • @TheDodgeChallenger

    lol,yeah.

you have more, but smaller catfish species in north america,

than we have here in europe, right?

  • @motombocolombo yes the saltwater catfish that i catch are normally around a foot the world record is only like four pounds lol and everyone hates them because they have toxic spines the can penettrate clothes or even shoes.

  • @TheDodgeChallenger

as far as i know,we just have one species of catfish here (silurus glanis).

it grows up to 7 or even 9 feet(maybe even bigger),weighing a few hundred lbs.

but i, for my share, never caught one.cos you really need some heavy tackle to

catch them and i´m more into light tackle/finesse kind of fishing for perch and zander.

  • @motombocolombo nice i go fishing for spotted trout and redfish and i catch all catfish so its kinda badluck.

  • @TheDodgeChallenger

that´s fishing...or like the stones used to sing:"you can´t always get you want"

    ;-)

  • i live in minnesota :D bc there are lot of lakes to fishing but i not interest to there anymore because im old enough to do now

  • @emrickcosby1 - I'm sure the Zander tastes better than the pike...

  • Amazing. But, which one taste better?

  • is tht on the outside of ely ive fished there before and wat lodge did u come from?

  • GET A NET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GET A NET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is sick.

  • Muskies are bad ass.

  • @23wvboy alligator gar are not even aggressive at all, they are gentle. muskie are aggressive and will attack food just because they are pissed off

  • man i would of kept it

  • lake of the woods?

  • @wreckingball28 they would be dead men if that was lake of the woods my bet is boundary waters

  • At first I think its a pretty big pike, then I see that its a rather small walleye. Still a kewl video. Happens a lot in Canada.

  • The pike wasn't even hooked, he was just trying to eat the walleye! Awesome vid!

  • lake vermillion????

  • Over the summer I went fishing in Wisconsin and found the best place to catch Northern, caught 1-3 everyday for a week.

  • Great video!!!

  • Get the net!!!

  • Great Video. who ever video taped it should work for National Geographic. This is part of nature. Keep up the good work.

  • This is 30 island lake

  • my uncle had a tiger muskie strike a pretty good size bass. he fought the fish for 2 hours and the muskie let go once he got it to the boat

  • NICE vid!! I have been through a similar situation :P

  • pikes are like freshwater barracudas man!!!

  • you should get the net then catch them both! in the net!

  • I was suprised to see the pike attempt to eat such a big fish

  • @derek6678421 they will take fish the same size as them when they are younger but generally take stuff half of their size

  • was ocean fishing in AK and 12 yo boy was reeling up a 10 lb yellow-eye just ready to gaff it when a 60 lb ling cod snatched him, wouldnt let go, so I gaffed his ass, kids very first fishing trip........ gottem both

  • @mrsmelzbad

short and awesome story there. good memories made for the 12 yo boy.

  • at first you think ( who in there right mind doesn't want to get that pike and walleye in the boat?) then you see that they are only in a cunoe, and then it becomes clear. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!! five stars!

  • Same thin happened to me, the only difference being that instead of the walleye i caught a smaller pike and a bigger one t-boned it. The video is on my channel.

  • Pike eatin good!

  • Pike is the freshwaterking

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat Pike and Lake trout!

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat actually the alligator gar is waaayyy bigger and ferocious, for example putting a pike against a gar is like putting a worm against a bird

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat NO MUSKY is fresh water king

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat what about muskie (which is pretty much a pike) or a gar

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat Muskie*

  • am fat

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat till it meets a muskie

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat haha waarom die naam?

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat haha waarom die naam?

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat Have you heard about musky?

  • @Blinkerinjekontgat its all about the muskulogne

  • Awesome video and attitudes! I loved how the fisherman asks if the cameraman wants both fish netted. A lot of people would have been rushing with the net to try and get both of them in to keep. But y'all let the Pike do his natural thing and then when he left you brought in the walleye. 5 stars!

  • This video is great. Happened to me a couple times. Great job . Did you let the little walleye go after all that?

  • Well done. And yea I don't understand how you guys were so calm that's rediculas haha great filming job also

  • That is absolutley amazing footage. By far the best fish eating fish footage I have seen on youtube. I am from Minnesota as well. I love how calm you guys were haha

  • Unbelievably awesome!

  • This is awesome. What beautiful scenery!
