the guy who made this video. CO2 is actually a well mixed gas in the atmosphere. Wind and convection play an important part in that process.

CO2 is the smallest percentage of gas in the atmosphere. something like 0.075%. Water vapour its the largest. Urbanisation is what is destroying the ecosystem and over usage of water. BOOM! and mining is not bad for the environment either. WAM!

Mr Fruitcake, I have to ask, if CO2 sinks in the manner you're suggesting why is that we don't suffocate when go to a low lying area? Doesn't all the atmospheric CO2 collect there? Simple math tells us that if 0.039% of the atmosphere is CO2 and CO2 is heavier than air... hmmm, that means that the lowest 6 meters of the atmosphere is pure CO2.

You nicely demonstrated that CO2 IS heavier than air.

Now make two containers.

Have one with just air inside and one with air and some added CO2.

Then add equal amounts of heat to both and see which box heats up quicker.

You will find that the box with higher CO2 levels heats much quicker.

That indicates that CO2 does in fact retain long wave radiation which increases the overall global temperatures.

Best give a listen to the American military. They can read data.

1. It's only 0.038% of the atmosphere

i think trumphent has a point there. It seems logical that the co2 is constantly getting mixed up and does not sink to the earth as there is obviously a lot of wind as well as hot/cold that mixes air all the time. However i DO believe that it is possibly not true that it is the cause of global warming. The sun is apparently getting brighter and is causing the earth to warm. HAARP is real too. Don't blame the relationship between altitude and pressure. CO2 mixes well throughout the troposphere. If it didn't mix, we wouldn't be here. There are much heavier molecules than CO2 that easily travel to the stratosphere. I hope you keep your automobile tires inflated with pure nitrogen. That CO2 is going to pile up on the bottom overnight and throw your wheels out of balance.

Wake up trumphent: all peer revised uni reports say there's only .03% CO2 at ground level, wake up man, how would that very small amount throw your tyres off balance. There's less than .01% at 5,000 feet. Maybe that's one reason why plant life decreases drastically the higher you get, there's not enough CO2 to promote growth.
