It's also worth mentioning that he's really not in the same training lineage as the guys most of us think of when we think "Gracie." He's in the Gracie Barra lineage, which means he's not associated with Rickson, Royce, Royler, etc.

Oh, and his father is a pretty legendary blackbelt in his own right.

For Roger to be born a Gracie, you must know that he is born to do this, he was bred to do BJJ. And for him to be tall just makes even harder to beat. We all wished we a lil taller, so we can have some kind of advantage. So his height is not a curse, its a blessing.

His skill is crazy good. You know how everyone says so and so feels like 500 pounds when they are in mount or side control. roger feels like 5000 pounds. You think he just picked up his game because he is tall. He practiced day in day out in Brazil, and had the best family in Jiu Jitsu helping him out. Go play more Nintendo Wii.
