ok, im one of the biggest WVU fans and i lived in morgantown. everyone needs to get over the fact he left. football is a business, plain and simple. ANY coach would love to coach at mich. most history rich ftball school ever. for everyone else. its not that he left that made people mad. its how he left. he didnt tell his players even, just the recruits he wanted, thats how the story leaked. to uncle. if you look it up we are the no.1 tourist state in the U.S. sorry to pop yo negative bubble tho

WVU football is going to be alright. Stewart is a fantastic coach. Mountaineers had a good class (again) and have talented players returning. WVU has Bowden, Nehlen and Rodriguez to thank for being on the college football map today. I don't understand all the vitriol against Rodriguez. WVU's fans have a right to be disappointed. But only when he departs for a better position they portray RR as a vampire who sacrificed infants. When Bowden left to resuscitate FSU, did WVU react the same?

Maybe you should just be grateful that he built your program up so well over these past 7 years. Coaches change teams, it happens. It's just a coach anyway. And it's a better opportunity, almost anyone would take it.

Coach Fraud only stepped into a program that was built by Don Nehlen...the tradition, fan base, facilities,etc. were put in place by one of the finest and most respected coaches in NCAA history. Fraud only used WVU as a stepping stone to more money. WV put their faith and trust into a backstabbing traitor..!

Every coach steps into something that someone else has worked on before. That statement is inane and doesn't really mean anything. Are you saying that Rich R. didn't do anything good? I don't think WVU was doing fantastic from about '94 to 2000. But I could be wrong. And if he was so bad as a coach, then why are you and lots of others, so hurt by his leaving? If he just "stepped in" and didn't do a good job, then who cares if he takes another job?

Just watch 'Farewell Richey Rodriguez...TRAITOR!!!' and you'll hear what he told WVU, the media, and the fans. It all turned out to be just plane bullshit.Myself, I'm glad to see him go because he was just becoming a big distraction. With a good coach, WVU could be even better trhan before.

Coach Rod was at the U of M practice today to watch the Wolverines, provide his spread option playbook and to give some tips to the defense on how to defend this type of offense since Florida uses it and we all saw what Appy State did against Michigan using the same type of extreme offense. Thanks coach for heading to Ann Arbor early. We look forward to the new and improved brand of Michigan Football.

The Spread Offense is great but buyer beware. Its the players that make the spread work not the coach. Michigan doesnt recruit those types of players and by time you do get them Ohio State has recruited against it.
