At least the Old Left had courage. The New Left are a bunch of cowards who hide behind the protections of western democratic/economic freedoms while covetting tenure protections and overpaid pensions in their new "soft revolutionary" role as student indoctrinators. People in the west don't even know when they and their children are being pumped with Frankfurt School relativism, neo-marxism, "critical (of what?) theory", anti-positivism, and romanticism of all things anti west.
