وتتلخص في اغراء الطفل بقطعة حلوى (المارشملو ) فتوضع أمامه مباشرة ويخير بين أن يأكلها الآن أو ينتظر

Marshmallows aren't even that good. They should up the ante and make a kid wait to eat a Reese's peanut butter cup or M&M's or some sort of irresistible candy like that.

The kid at the very end was so cute though.

this was a really interesting experiment, it was carried out by a fella called Walter Mischel and he did it with a group of 4 year old children. they had to wait 20 minutes. if they were able to wait he said they had an impulse control called Delayed Gratification, if they couldnt wait he named it instant gratification. he believed that delayed gratification was a good trait to have as it allows us as adults to wait for things, goes with the saying "good things come to those who wait" :-)
