  • Its weird how me and my ex would fight, sometimes like this......and we would break up and the next thing you knw we'd be together like nothing ever happened, Now i knw how to handle a situation bcuz even tho i cnt see exactly how bad are fights and arguments were, seeing this makes me regret a few unhappy things to him

  • My girlfriend & I had a fight yesterday while in the car. Though it wasn't as physical as this, watching this scene just made me love even more.

  • oh my gosh this scene gets me every time

    :/

  • 0:45

    No, no, wait a minute

  • After reading the book, I was really disappointed to see that the movie was NOTHING like the book. Same story...but completely different. The book never explicitly focused on the summer they spent together.

  • This kinda made it seem like he used her for sex cause as soon as they do they break up /: but I know it wasn't cause he wanted too. I'm not blind to the situation. I'm just sayin'. Noah is the greatest man alive (:

  • She pushes him like a 8 times & it looks like a 100 :|

  • if i were the actress playing this girl, it would probably take me like 50 times to get this scene right because i would start laughing when slapping and shoving him :P

  • This breaks my heart, I love someone SO much but I can never have him back. The fight scene in the movie is so similar to the way it ended with us. I would give anything to take it all back.

  • @heathermwood3 hahahaahah loser

  • just go!!!!! wait were not really breaking up are we????

  • whoah. abuse much?!

  • she is amazing

  • @Emurlyjayne she sucks dick fairly well comrade

  • Aw this part is so sad

I have noticed that almost all of nicholas sparks' books that they fall in love in the summer or spring break and one of their close family members dies

  • @143localgurl not in a walk to remeber :P oh you said almost lol... but ur comment only aplies to the notebook, dear john and the last song

  • why did he break up with her?

  • great actress.

  • as a straight guy who loves chick flicks, i dont usually cry in movies, but something about this made me lose it. like hyperventilate/seizure/weeping cry. I didnt know anything about this movie before i saw it, and i watched it alone in my living room. i cried throughout this ENTIRE movie! even the little parts. idk why. it is quite a beautiful movie, and i found many similarities to my life in this film. Wonderful story.

  • takes a real man to admit something like that

    :) haha

  • Please video tape yourself crying & post it to youtube.

  • Had to laugh reading your comment, so reassuring to know that guys DO cry (secretly) at this film! i was the same, (like most chicks) but i dont normally cry at films at i was WEEEPING through the whole thing!!!--what IS it with this movie!!!??? :)

  • I agree! it is a wonderful and extraordinary story. My Dad liked this movie as well. Only proves that you are a sensitive and compassionate and REAL.

  • Dude...not gay. I'm a guy and i also find this scene very touching. Had this part happen to me before. it brought back some memories that i wish would never happen to anyone ever

  • @iluv2fuck What happen to your relationship?

  • @markeithmm89 differences at the end i guess.

  • aww):

haha it makes me laugh though. she's smaking the crap out of him then shes like STOP IT!

    noah&allie<3

  • this is exactly what i do with my boyfriend. lol girls are so weird.

  • haha.

  • he was worried about her future..=[

  • The notebook is that type of movie where i cry about 10 times!! Its so beautiful

it captures true love SOOO well

    Amazing acting as wel

  • VERY good scene in the Notebook. All girls react like this

  • THIS PART IS MY FAVORITE SCENE..

  • Why does Noah hit himself?

  • To show that Allie can't hurt him, or that he doesn't care when she hits him, it doesn't do anything,

I actually love it when he hits himself, it gives the scene more feeling.

  • idk how to explain it but its like...ok wat if u have a younger slibling and u like hit them to get on ur nerves but they just hit themselve to show u that its not bothering them and it makes u mad cuz u was tryin t make them mad. thats basically kinda wat he was doing. he was tryin to make her even more mad then wat she was by tryin to annoy her.

  • @94jg well, he doesn't obviously want to hit her, nor stop her... I believe he feels a little guilty too

  • Im watching the movie now and I crying at this part.I hate Allies stupid mother..

  • love is wonderfull feeling, but in reality, after all the love and sacrifice sometimes it ends for nothing but just a memories..

  • Wie die den prügelt!^^

  • I think you dont know what "funny" means.

  • reminds me sooo much of my ex Lisa an me,this was exactly how we'd be.Kinda Wish she still had love for me like that

  • this is my fave part in the movie... and the rain scene...

  • this is the saddest part in the movie!!!! omg I cry so hard everytime i see it.. : ( :( BEST MOVIE IN THE WORLD! aweeee

  • when i watched this film i was crying all night...and now every time i recall the end i cry again... :'(

  • aww this is sad but its happy in the end buts its sad. its confusing

  • :-(

  • pooor allie... couldnt make up her mind

  • i never even noticed he was slapping himself too untill i read the comments

  • lmao "Noah, no please wait a minute. We're not really breaking up are we?"

    aw <3

  • slapping himself i think is an expression of him saying.. you can hit me.. but im hitting myself.. right now i feel this needs to be done.. and in some symbolic way he is expressing that its beating himself up to do this..

i think a very clever moment.

  • I agree with you, but sometimes I think that he slapps himself ´cause he is so angry and sad about that decition, and he loves her so much that he preffers to be hurt before she

  • I am pretty sure that's rewording what I posted :)

  • It's so weird you see.

The one when Noah slaps himself and when Allie's trying to make it good, like, we're not really breaking up. Like it's so easy to hit him and scream at him, and the next minute shes pegging to come back. That's the way I see that.

  • This scene always makes me cry

  • almost all scenes in this film makes me cry ;)

  • my sis was next to me at this point so i dont really know if i cried a lot lol

  • THIS MADE ME CRY SO MUCHHHH! ):

    it looks so reaaaal!

rachel macadams is a wonderful actress.. <3

  • Heartbreaking scene.

  • The best movie ever in my book, brings back memories

  • hhahaha Thats funny! his slaping himself! Because he doesnt want to hurt her! He´s such a nice guy!!!!!!!!!

  • after tht scene i cry the rest of the time its my favorite

  • how is it that this scene is less than a minute long and can still make me cry?? its so amazing. gotta love this movie...

  • Ohemgeee!!! CARLY THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hi andyyy! (:

  • lol u notice that he actually slaps himself haha. still love the scene though. made me cry :(

  • just got webcam again!

  • this reminds me of me and boyfriend.sadly.

  • Are you the daughter of a well to do father and does your boyfriend work at the mill?

  • Fuckin A....

  • i love how she's all like leave go!! and 2 secs later we're not really breaking up are we??!!

  • ah god..

    that's how i feel..

    :(

  • I just watched the Notebook for the first time ever today. This scene is what got me REALLY into it. I am in love with this movie now

  • She made this seen so real to me..like a page of me and my husband he leaves and I want him back..one of the best movies ever!!!

  • This scene is so realistic. Same thing happened with my ex when he wanted to leave. I was hitting him out of frustration and he was walking away from me which angered me even more. I love the Notebook. Great acting from both of them.

  • I love this scene because Noah just takes it. :( so cute

  • if these were modern times, he'd be taking her to Judge Judy for kicking his car. Luckily we have stuff like this to get away from our stupid reality :) love this so much!

  • So much emotion

Rachel was amazing in that scene

  • Hahaha she was like i hate you leave ...... next minute ... don't leave it's not really over is it !? lol

  • Love it

  • lmfao y isnt girls always like that lol, non the less gr8 movie was on last night

  • Believe me they are when they get hurt anf feel rejected...

  • ohhhhh hells yes we r

  • lol

  • soo saaad :( :'(

  • I love the emotion in this scene. I also love the other scene when she leaves at the end, and he tells her he wants her to stay. It was something that wasn't in the book and I feel makes the movie all the more amazing. I liked the book too though.

  • :( so sad!

  • this is soo sad. ):

  • Does anyone kno where i can get the audio for this? im trying to make a vid for my friend

  • download youtubedownloader (just google it)

download and convert it into an mp3 file and you can get the audio that way

  • without words :(

  • wow..

that's a beat down if I ever saw one...

  • i watch this movie 12 times , and every time i watch i fell in love again, this movie is beautiful, rachel and ryan are soo cute together.

  • i think its so adorable how shes all mad & she hits him and pushes him but he just lets her and then he tries to give her a hug.

thats why i love this scene so much.

  • he slapped him self like twice

  • OO:48-OO:52 is so sad...

  • I love this movie

  • ahahahaha...she doesn't take breakups well :p lmfao but props to her for doing this scene so well...I probably would have laughed everytime I did it :p I feel bad for Noah (Ryan) too :(

  • Hahahaha that has to be the funniest scene in the movie. It's all intense and sad and then she goes and says "No wait, we're not really breaking up are we?" The outcome of that fight was sad but she was funny.

  • haha, I've done that.

  • OMGGg!!! I CRIED IN THIS PART!!! !

  • ugh.

i hate how she would always hit him.

  • i cried in this scene :(

  • i love this scene!!

  • lol..im sorry..lmao this movie is great!

  • OMG...I'm crying and laughing at the same time right now(: This is exactly what just happened with me and my boyfriend. After hitting him and saying horrible things I still expect for him to love me and not say it's over and pretend like nothing happened. As Ali so eloquently says it, "I hate you, it's over....we're not really breaking up are we? It'll be alright and the same tomorrow". For me it's been 3days and still no word.

  • I'm almost on the same situation as you. We talk but it's nothing like before... When I saw this film I identified myself with Allie in many things, this scene shows the most... I miss him so :(

  • intense

  • oh yes :'(

  • he slapped himself.

  • i love it when ryan hits himself so many times after rachel hits him! its heartbreaking though, the whole scene

  • this scene made me cry. love it though. thanks for posting

  • My cousin said she was BAWLING in the theater when she saw this. When I saw this I thought man, that girl is bipolar.

  • You think that coz you're just an unemotional, heartless, cold person.

  • PART I

Thanks. So because I have a different opinion than you, and because I didn't cry at this specific scene, I'm an "unemotional, heartless, cold person"? Did you cry during the boxing scene in "Million Dollar Baby", (NOT the scene where Clint Eastwood kills her) the fight in which Maggie's neck gets so messed up that she can't box again? Oh, you didn't? You unemotion, heartless, cold person, you!

  • PART II

How about after you saw "Requiem for a Dream"? How long did you cry at the very end of it? You mean YOU didn't cry yourself to sleep, like I did?! You enemotional, heartless, cold person! And while we're making blind assumptions, I'm going to assume that you're a complete moron for spelling "'cause" wrong (come on Sodapoppy, is it really that hard to write out the complete word?).My point? Don't judge me.

  • this is my favorite move!!! i cried at this part and at the end

  • wat happened before??

  • they were going to have sex and their parents wanted alley home and they had a fight

  • i cried on this part!!!huhuhuhu...its so touching...
