  • I have very long legs and a short upper body. I'm built like Kermit the Frog. Does that put me at a disadvantage when trying to improve the flexibilty in my legs? I have tight hips and would like to improve my flexibility. When trying to do the butterfly, it is hard for me to push my knees down to the floor. If I do the stretches in your video, will I be able to push my knees to the floor at some point? How long does it take to improve flexibility? Months? Years? Thanks for the great videos.

  • I know stretching is important but I was wondering how often should u stretch? Everyday for a lil while or is it like 3 times a week or what?

  • you obviously know everything there is to know about Stretching... ...I am a beginner and among other things I wanna be able to do FULL SPLITS and be as flexible as you. I am 35y.o. ( is it still possible ? ) I am fit and lean but not flexible !!

  • damn your stretchy. we do that every day in gym but my knees are about 6inces above the ground. same with everyone else. OMG

  • how long have u been doing it for. It takes about 3 years to do it fully ,my knees touch the floor after 3 and a half years of karate training and i stretch everyday for 8 minutes. It also depends on how far you can do the splits. Trying the splits does a great deal on your butterfly stretch. You dont ned to just saying

  • ever since 1st grade. im a sophmore in highschool. but we only do it for 10 sec each day. that could be why!

  • Can you give some sort of indicating how long it takes to hit the floor with both knees:

    my conditions at the moment:

    - Im training (stretching only) 20-30 minits a day.

    - butterfly strech: my knees are 5-7 cm's above the ground at both sides.

    - i can pull my knee all the way to my chest (1:45)

  • You can warm up well and take the stretches slow and don't push past the limit.

    Also you can check out PaulZaichik forum and youtube channel and see if you can find something there.
