  • AAWWWWWWWWWWWW DAMN! First time hearing this band! HOLY SHIT! Amazing!

  • This song is beautiful.

  • guys anyone has the guitar pro tab for this song? its beautiful and i cant find it anywhere! thank you

  • this is pure genius riffs! but i dont like this black metalish vocals hes doing, its ruining the thing...needs brutality like suicmez' vocals...BUT ITS GOLDEN MUSIC, and the clean vocals are fuckingggg unbelievable!

  • Is this album thick in fretless bass? That is what I loved about Cosmogenesis, just added this layer of creepyness and i really don't know how to explain it but awesome.

  • @dtonbassist probably not as "thick" as Cosmo but it is definitely audible

  • @Sepuni Hell yeah dude, this was the first song on the album I listened to and I loved it within one listen.

  • Do anyone else besides myself feel/hear certain kind of epicness in the main riff?

  • @Sepuni Epic isn't the word I use, but I feel it too.

    And I fucking love it.

  • @Sepuni It actually reminds me of part of the riff in Kiuas - Towards the Hidden Sanctum.

It's progressive power metal (though it's hard to give these guys a genre, they have influences from folk through extreme metal) so quite different, but well worth a listen with that same epic feel.

  • @Sepuni yes the riff is definately something that grabs your brain and plays with it in mysterious ways.

  • fucking masterpiece.

  • great song..... These guys are technical as hell.

  • check out beyond creation if you like this band

  • I need to have this album!

    Another beautiful piece of art,

Technical Death Metal is music anyone who loves beauty should experience.

  • @blackrook96 You're right. That's smooth and beautiful, and easy near Viraemia... I love them.

  • Sounds like 1776 - Iced Earth

  • best death metal album of the year

  • epic bass solo

  • So far this is the best album of 2011 for me... but Iconoclast by Symphony X is pretty goddamn close

  • @Zyborggian Fuck yea dude 2 best bands of 2011 for sure I mean the solos and technicality are amazing! What are your favorite songs? mine are ocean gateways and iconolast.

  • @FirePower3006 favorites on omnivium are probably septuagint, vortex, this and Aevum... but I also love Moreans solo on velocity. On Iconoclast the title track is on a whole nother level... song of the year for me for sure. and my fav songs on it besides the title track are probably Bastards of the Machine, Heretic and Light up the night (I plan on singing light up the night at a chorus show at my school next spring lol) but i still havent listened to the last two songs on the album yet

  • \m/ Jeroen Thesseling \m/

  • 3:22 one of the most beautiful and epic solos out there!!!!!!!!!!!!! lml Muenzner rules!!

  • @SHREDDER222X INDEED. crystal clear sweeping but more importantly, BEAUTIFUL

  • @fractedmillenium exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lml

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC my guess is that they weren't using the ancient Greek definition, but something like you said about celestial bodies themselves.

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC I think that's close yeah. The celestial sphere is the Greek interpretation of our sky as a sphere outside the earth, encompassing everything we can see. However, there was only one celestial sphere. To say spheres is to say that there is more than one, which makes it open to many different interpretations. Maybe it has something to do with multiple civilizations, or maybe they didn't know exactly what the celestial sphere actually was.

  • I think this song is about how the greek astronomers sort of "worshipped" the planets; the so-called 'celestial spheres' you see when you lay a telescope upon a starry sky. Anyone agree?

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC without looking at the lyrics yeah

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC haha i mean "After looking at the lyrics, yeah"

  • @DeathandGorefuckc0r3 I was high when I typed that haha

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC same here dog.

  • Is it just me or did this band steal their name from a Gorguts album? If I remember correctly when they first came out it was right after Gorguts released Obscura and they sounded disturbingly just like Gorguts' album which was a time signature symphony.

  • @Ih8stupidhumans They didn't steal it. Rather, they cite Gorguts as one of their major influences, and decided to name themselves in their honor. :P lol

  • favorite song of the album

  • best song off the album. no questions asked

  • see them at summer breeze in about 2 weeks. can't wait!

  • @TheApokalypt They were just epic..! Best act at Summerbreeze 2011 indeed!

  • @666Freefall yeah, totally

  • im going to be seeing this band in like a week and i cant wait to hear this shit live \m/

  • such beautiful phrasing everywhere....

  • Thesseling is a genius. That bass is as smooth and thick as peanut butter, yet as light and nimble as a hummingbird. Listen to it dance ... that peanut butter hummingbird. Lol.

  • @brendanfode That's the best description of anybody's bass sound ever. "Peanut butter hummingbird"

  • @brendanfode I love you. No homo. Okay, a little homo... nevermind, very homo.

  • @brendanfode win

  • Comment removed

  • @brendanfode Agreed, the only bass playing in death metal I can compare it with would be from Cynic, Atheist, Death and Quo Vadis. There are awesome bass players out there. I'm glad to see groups such as Obscura giving them some room on the mix to flex their musical might.

  • @TrollandDie check out the bass player for dying fetus, (check out the song "your treachery will die with you)

everything the guitar player plays, he plays aswell, even the sweep section, it was killer live!

  • Thanks man, this is great stuff!
