You haven't played the other games so you're probably not familiar with the 'sons of Big Boss' and that's who this snake is - heis one of the 'sons' of Big Boss. Otacon is a friend of snake's.

Two reasons. One, it's a game I'd *like* to have, though not necessarily something I'd kill for. Two, the PS3 doesn't appeal to me much. After what happened to the PSN recently I'm scared to get one and it happen again, assuming I have money at the time. But that's one of the great things about YouTube: If you don't have the game, just watch a playthrough of it. :D
