  • McCARTNEY...what else could be said?

  • iL MIO IDOLO <3

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @theunnamed2013 How Kind Of You

  • He show it all, how to make musik

  • The fact of the matter is that if paul wasn't a musical genius then why would the beatles be studied at A-Level music, which i did, and let me tell you it was very hard and very complicated. A composer has even said that leaving home is as good as anything Schubert composed. Popular music would not be what it is without Paul and John.

  • John and Paul are equally good... one is not better than the other one... John and his lyrics and songwritting while Paul with music and composition. these two completed each other... so John = Paul.

  • Paul McCartney played Han Solo....

  • @zeromant80 No... Han Solo played Paul McCartney. :P

  • Brilliant....don't you all know that recording engineers and mixers are the brains behind the scene...

  • @conmaesta Ha ha!

  • HE plays the glasses?????!!!!!

  • If Paul McCartney's not a musical genius...then I don't know who is...him and maybe Brian Wilson. And if I'm not mistaken, Pet Sounds was a reaction to Rubber Soul and some have said Pet Sounds is the greatest album of all time. Wilson may have been a nutcase, but he's a living legend in the music industry...along with Sir Paul of course...both men are true International treasures.

  • @wyldwheels the response was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band not the rubber ;)

  • How kind of you is such a fucking amazing song

BEST SONG OFF THE ALBUM but i also love jenny wren & paul is the greatest & my favourite beatle

  • If I ever get to meet Paul i'd want to thank him for his music :)

  • his producer is nigel???? the producer radiohead?? :D this is great!how genius

  • i miss u Beatles .......so fucking much.

  • super

  • paul is compeltely beautiful in his music and his style! i mean, he can play everything, even glasses !!!! :D

  • That EMI console gives me a big ol' boner.

  • Han Solo?

  • @inuyasha491 oh for sure, theres nothing quite like creating a natural drone.. its a great technique to add that 'bed of sound' he was talking about

  • @inuyasha491 well it wasnt his idea, glass armonicas have been used for a long long time

  • @skunkradioDOTnet Harmonics*

  • amazin paul

  • Um i think we get its a four track

  • I'm so glad I found this!

  • This is just fascinating!

  • @pauljames00 youre wrong.

  • @skunkradioDOTnet You're*

  • @Chaz6993X are you for fucking real buddy, get a life =/ and btw, it is armonica, i wasnt trying to spell harmonics :S im not a moron

  • So is Nigel's old mixing board part synth too? It really gave Paul's solo piece a really FULL sound.!

  • How Kind of You is an incredible song, but is it me or are the tape loops horribly off-time with the guitar?

  • @hercarebear2 yes,the guitar is off-time...

  • Forget about who was more talented, a better musician, singer or songwriter. let's just be thankful that these two not only met but inspired and drove each other to make music that means so much to so many people. Talk about prolific..most recording artists would kill to have created just a handful of their catalog. Beatles = Greatest Band Ever!

  • What a lesson!!

  • i gotta try that with the glasses harmony :D sounds nice--ive never done it before

  • such a great sound

  • Ppl*ll always worship Paul cuz he*s greatesr musician of all times.

And some fools who think Beatles and Macca are outmoded just silly ungrateful cunts.

Beatles, Wings and Macca are 4ever!

  • @katrin2801 WOW John = Paul or better...

  • Both John and Paul equal in talent imo.

  • paul is a better musician...but john clobbers him in talent...

  • @XxGINDIxX If pual did not have talent, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, etc..would have never been made..they were equal musicians on their own but GODS together....

  • @XxGINDIxX Mate there equal, but both nowhere as good as when they are together, both of their creativity dried up slightly after the Beatles, nothing of John's solo stuff was as good as Strawberry Field, A Day in the Life or Mr.Kite and nothing on Paul's solo stuff was as good Penny Lane and She's leaving Home

  • im actually learning. something that doesnt happen in school. Paul's teaching me!

  • I'm waitin' for James McCartney's album, that's supposed to come out this year. Paul supposedly helped him on it, or IS helping him on it. I wanna hear if he has any of Paul's angelic gift for melodies, and how his voice sounds :)

  • lol Jimmy Page is pretty awesome too

  • @FTWyousuck Jimi might be a great guitar player.. but Paul is an overall better musician than anyone on this planet...

  • While I disagree, I of course respect your opinion and as such put a thumbs up.

  • Plus Nigel produced his last record...thats sick

  • Paul McCartney=The greatest of all time

  • John Lennon=Better than the "greatest of all time"

  • John was obviously very talented and I do prefer his voice...but Paul can play just about any instrument better than John. Anyways lets not get into this typical Paul vs John fight instead letscall it Paul + John= Greatest team of all time ;)

  • John was the man...

    Genius

  • This song is based on a Drone, like that of the one featured on Tomorrow Never Knows.

  • Nigel made this song sound like Radiohead's Spinning Plates.

  • Paul's producer is the producer of Radiohead. Apparently Paul is a fan of Radiohead, which lifts my opinion of him very highty.

  • I think this is his best solo record he's ever made. Cuts you to the bone unlike alot of his older stuff. I think he's taken a leaf out of John's book and told it straight good for him

  • Indeed it does, i find he's "getting better all the time", hope you understand the reference =D.

  • Yeah likely, I really like "Fine Line".

  • no he is not its just that is another beatles rumor

  • i think you're thinking of george of john or you just listen to the paul mccartney hoax

  • I always think "How kind of you" is " The Hope diamond " the fancy deep blue diamond currently housed in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.

  • I still think "How Kind of You" is one of the most beautiful things Paul has composed in recent years--great to see it in a (semi)live performance

  • Paul Has made so much of his life he is incredable and if he were to sit here on youtube and read some of these second grade comments of 5 year olds who dont know about real music critise him..I sorry but all the "Rock bands" you all like will have been inspired by the beatles wow hes amazing and incredable and so are all the other beatles You all need to relize how lucky we are too see such a great man play

  • @HutchLiveFromSpace um... Incredible* criticize* sorry, just needed to point it out.

  • @Chaz6993X grammar nazi

  • @Chaz6993X You're an idiot. Criticise is the British spelling.

  • @jdenicholls he didn't spell it that way. He spelled it critise which isn't even a word. So you sir/ma'am, are an idiot.

  • @Chaz6993X Touche :P. That'l teach me for skim reading

  • How Kind Of You

  • i actually really like Electric Arguments

  • Electric Arguments is AMAZING man, amazing...i couldn't have done better...Paul is genious and free and got a open mind

  • @s2ths2 "Sing the Changes" took me by surprize. WOW! What an amazing album

  • Koldrockrecords, that tells me more about what you know, then what Paul has done in his life. What have you done that you can even begin to critique this music. You sir are just another fucking moron that comes along.

Paul helped change the world. You sit in judgement????? Asscap

  • chaos and creation in the backyard is a phenomenal album, and yet i saw it in woolworths for £2, disgraceful

  • I should buy it then

  • WOW! what was that Huge Desk that Nijle used?

    that was frikkin Dreamy!!

  • Simply, flawless. Just, flawless.

  • too good! well im not his better fan, but i like his music, well does anybody knows about a video of like 3 years ago.. he were singing at studio, with a piano, and the liryc say something like c'mon brother, sorry about de mistakes the english is not my lengauge-XD

  • It's 'Fine Line' from 'Chaos And Creation In The Backyard' album.

  • Music keeps you alive

  • I get it. Thank you Paulie. You are beautiful music as a person.

  • Paul do know which Chords he play, just look other videos, in which he teach riffs

  • This is so magic...I think Paul is the last artist, who uses all these old things...he's just the best

  • i know this seems random but john frusciante of the red hot chili peppers does the same thing he just records great music with simple technology and old instruments in his living room.

  • How Kind Of You. Beautiful, but specially the studio version.

  • imm gonna get a 4 track recorder...thanks to paul

  • I don't know about you...a guitar along with a good song makes me feel better. You're brilliant Paulie.

  • Amazing music. I would've loved to be at Abbey Road watching this happen in person. Paul's got to be one of the most talented songwriters in the 21st century. I mean think about it, The Beatles broke up 37 years ago...yet their music continues to sell, and a new generation discovers their albums/singles everyday. This music will live on.

  • Paul along with John of course are the most talented songwriters EVER!

  • Nigel Godrich is the best producer ever.

    Stag,

    X

  • no songwriter or singer alive to touch him

  • I would have given anything to have been in the audience, what an intimate and rare experience!

  • Chaos And Creation In The Backyard is such a amazing record. It has a very moody sound witch soots Paul realy well. Songs like Jenny Wren, At the Mercy, This Never Happened Before, Riding to Vanity Fair are songs that will be remembered and loved in long time. But the album will not get the praise it deserves before Paul are gone...

  • Paul will always be the standard by which song writters will be judged...he is the greatest. Period.

  • Amen!

  • How Kind Of You. Beautiful, but specially the studio version.

  • that is a tube mixing board, it could be one that the beatles used at the studio.

  • SIR PAUL YOU VISIT TO PERU !!!

  • this sucker is not in time with paul !

  • wow! that was great!! nigel!!legend.

jonsakic dont leave comments "you are stupid"

  • or paul isn't in time with him?

  • sad song but a vote of a+

  • WHAT ABORING SONG

  • no that was 'Here today' on tug of war. How kind of you is from Chaos & Creation 2005.

  • It does kinda feel like Cash's "Hurt". But I'm just a sucker for acoustic work, artists like McCartney and Cash getting back to their roots, just their voice and the guitar. So much better then some music (and not just today's) getting too overdone. But that's just my opinion.

  • I thought it was GREAT that Cash And Paul actually got to record music together...okay...well....2 songs..but thats still pretty powerful

  • This song feels like Johnny Cash's Hurt, just a wee bit more uptempo

  • This Version is more sad and better than the original

  • me too

  • I would like to listen to the original version of how kind of you
