I think he was trying to hit you. How can you go into a 30MPH turn at 75MPH? He didn't even get all the way to the inside. Maybe his brakes were overheating, but even so, he should have gotten all the way to the inside or outside. The only time i've ever seen anything like this is when I'm trying to hit my friends on video games.

My mate T-boned me there when we were racing in September 2000. It won him the championship - I got a busted ankle and to ad insult to injury - nettled after I had shuffled off the track and laid down on the tyres. I was out racing again two weeks later at Mallory to take a win and a second and keep second place in the championship. Good memories!

There is a long tarmac run off area at the haiprin where the runway used to carry on. Our friend here will not have crashed.
