That's interesting. I liked everything he said until that comment, at which point I said "god, he's pretentious." He'd just told an anecdote about wrapping a scene, ready to move on but Ale was still waving in cars in, because he wanted to make $5 more. He himself acknowledged it was Ale, not he, who had trouble distinguishing between acting and reality, and when push came to shove there is, of course, in fact, a distinct need for clear separation between action and cut. The rest is posturing.

I love Ramin's comment about "action and cut!" That is so true! Now I wonder how I can incorporate that idea with my kid actors?!
