I think this is a 1989 performance from Austin City Limits, a music show out of Austin, TX, popular in the US. I remember seeing it at the time on TV. The whole show was great.

THE voice !!! Good Lord, but kd channels Patsy so well !!!!!! It is such a shame that people can be so narrow-minded. Talent like this comes along once in a lifetime, and kd should be celebrated. Forget the so-called "negative marketing aspects" of "visual appeal" and "orientation". Who cares? Thank God for kd lang and her incredible talent; She brings much-needed beauty into the World.
