Thats also something people always say jason got help from the teens yet never mention they kept jason drugged up thus helping freddy in the dream world . Also if the dock wasnt blown up you really think freddy would still be able to do anything without his arm ? jason was going to win either way .

Yeah Freddy was dead at the beginning of FvJ, but so was Jason. Also, the reason they kept Jason drugged up was so that they could keep Jason unconscious long enough to bring him to Crystal Lake where HE would have an advantage over Freddy. So in the end, they were really helping Jason. Freddy only lost his arm a split second before the dock blew up because he got distracted by the flames, so if they didn't blow up the dock, Freddy would have never lost his arm.
