  • unboxing is gay

  • nice!!!

  • Yet you've made an unboxing video of a Club Nintendo Reward. How's that any different?

  • Duuuuuh, over a 1000 people will have made videos like this one as well, noob.

Isn't it past your bed time?

  • And just because over a 1000 made those videos doesn't make them any less geeky.

    There's over a 1000 trainspotters. Nuff said.

  • loser!

  • Lol, Nice

Im thinking for gettin a GeFore 8800 For £30

From Pc World For My Dell GX270 SD

  • hey how much did it lower your temps on ur 9800gt i have a 9600gt and i wanted to know if you're running this without fans or with fans? im planning on buying this

  • so this is passive cooling? can you add a fan to this to improve cooler or will it barely improve cooling thats my only question before i buy this plzz answer

  • lol old but good

  • Haha, this the special warewolf cooler.

  • how do you add a fan to this cooler

  • silence...

if you aren't going to talk, try adding some music or something, just an idea.

  • what is that thing?

  • it's a GPU (graphics card) heatsink.

  • lol

    what does it do

  • it distributes heat to get rid of it, so your parts don't melt.

  • Cool Video :) i had this cooler on my ATI x1950xt^^

  • That thing looks sweet. I really only use laptops though so there would not be much benifit for me to get one.

  • u're one hairy boy aren't ya xD nice vid tough

  • Thnx for the video I needed it

  • Cool design :)

  • Wow, great, Thanks ^^

  • looks good, nice cooling.

you got some temps report on some card?

  • thats huge and does it even work good i think u need a fan...maybe a 120mm on the top

  • actually it works without a fan but if you want to get really nice temps a Scythe 120mm fan is desired.

If you get a 100cfm 120mm you will find a 20c difference in temps from no fan.

  • I was planning to buy a Arctic Cooling Accelero TwinTurbo twice for my 9800's, does anyone have one installed? Does it save much temperature?

  • i have the ARCTIC COOLING Accelero Xtreme 9800 and it is AWESOME for an air cooler i highly recommend it. (this cooler is made only for 9800gtx/+ and 9800gt)

  • Yes, I received two of them. Reduces 10Celsius and I even turned the fan speeds lower! lol

  • useful video, thanks

  • sry i am excited lol!

  • hi mate! :)

yeah i never really got these for overclocking as the stock coolers on my 6800 ultra were noisy so i really wanted them for quiet cooling but i do have to say with some good case cooling, these coolers stay very cold even without added fans to the cooler. very good coolers :D the coolers never went over 40 degrees celcius

  • great thanks! Well mine arived and and installed it.... (just to say... my card on stock cooler ran 62 idle and 88 load) so i brought up atitool which is an overclock utility. it tells me the temp is at 57... too hot! i remove graphics check and find prob... put back in it says 52... well then i left it like that and overclocked from 350/1000 to 418/1187. and on full it runs 68!!! wooooot!!!

    thanks for ur help!

  • hey np :D im glad to help :)

  • YAY! =)

  • hey!!!!! Did you buy this to overclock?

I bought this just yesterday!!!! for my old little XFX 6800 GT! It may be old but this thing is a beast! Plays crysis! How cold did this run on your cards and if you overclocked how hot was it then? also if you overclocked how much?

  • I have a EVGA 780i motherboard, and one BFG 8800 GT 512. If I got another one of these cards, would an Accelero S1 rev. 2 fit? it seems that on my motherboard the PCI 16 slots are pretty close together, and I was wondering if you think it would all fit.

  • hi mate! yes it should fit but it might be tight but just make sure your chipset cooler is a low profile one and you should be fine. i have two of these on my 6800 ultra cards in sli and they are a tight fit but its fine but just make sure you buy a very long flexable sli bridge as the fins of the cooler will block the sli connector so with the flexable bridge, you can bend it over the cooler if you see what i mean just make sure you have good airflow in your case and all cables are tucked away.

  • p.s i have a asus sli socket 939 motherboard and it fits fine :)

  • LOL - może jeszcze kod kreskowy pokaż ?

  • Thanks for posting sunnyb4u. I might be interested in this for an 8800GT. It fits in a single slot. I couldn't use a dual slot 8800gt because I need all my slots for cards etc.

If I got this would it end up taking up an extra slot, or does it all stay close to the card and everything stays in a single slot?

  • hi thx for the comments. this cooler would take up an extra slot im afraid so 1 slot for the gpu and 1 slot for the cooler so 2 slots in total

  • Ok, I guess I'll have to find a different way then. Thanks.

  • Anyone know if artifacting is due to overheating? Everytime i try oc my card it crashes and it is only at 60C.

  • yes you will get artefacts if the memory has been overclocked but you wnt get artefacts from the temperature im sure just the overclocking of the gpu core and its memory will cause artefacts

  • So even with a better cooler i woudnt get be able to overclock higher?

  • well it depends on the card but a bette rcooler would give you a better overclock

  • Ok thx I'll get this cooler soon in a few days then ill try it out for my self.

  • Does the s1 rev. 2 or any of them work with 8800 GTS (G80). On the site it said it works with 8800 GTS(G92).

  • im sure it does work as it supports both ati and nvidia card the one thing to mention though is make sure you have plenty of space in your case as its huge and also make sure you got decent air cooling in the case other than that, it should be fine

  • is there any place that actually has this in stock? i NEED it for my 7950gt, it idles at ~55C its VERY hot and nTune randomly shuts my fan off

  • try amazon mate i bought mine of amazon or you can try ebuyer as they always have soem in stock and are very cheap in price

  • oh, use rivatuner for the fan problem

  • will this work with an 8800 gt?

  • i think so or you might have to buy the s2 version check with the arctic cooling website :D

  • I have this one to I liky

  • i just ordered one of these for my ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512mb DDR2 graphics card. hope it works out.

  • dont forget to have good airflow through your case and also the thermal paste is pre applied to the base of the cooler just to let you know :D

  • would u recommend i buy a tube of thermal paste if i needed more? also....for the RAM heat sinks, it doesnt look like the thermal tape will hold up, so should i use thermal paste for those or should i use super glue?

  • All you need to do is when you remove your stock cooler, just clean the ramsinks lightly with some cotton buds and use light pressure to clean as the memory chips has to be nice and clean and please dont use super glue, all you need to do is clean the memory chips and then when you apply the memory heatsinks just push them down on the memory chips just apply slight pressure for a few secounds to each heatsink sitting on each chip they will not fall off.

  • just also make sure you clean off the stock thermal paste of the gpu chip also memory chips need to be nice and clean and grease free. if you need any more help, then just ask me i hope this helps. believe me it took me only 30 mins from removal of stock cooler to cleaning and fitting the new cooler. but once the card is clean and ready to install the new cooler, install the ram heatsinks first and there will be no space to install them once you install the cooler

  • thanks man. great advice. I am still waiting for it to arrive and i cant wait!

  • hehe im glad to help :D

  • It arrived! I have got good news and bad news

the bad news is that the cooler would not fit in the holes of my graphics card

the good news is that i found a way to make it fit, and it works very nicely now. the card is nice and cool

i still have a question tho....the RAM heatsinks kept falling off...but i managed to stick them on except one. that one fell out when i had already installed the s1....so i just stuck it on the back of that specific RAM piece. is that a good idea?

  • well im glad yur enjoying your s1 cooler :D but you said you installed the ramsink to the back of the memory chip i presume you installed the ram sink on the plastic pcb board on the back of the card? i wouldnt do that as it doesnt cool that chip and it can short your graphics card please dont install ramsinks onto your board liek that just install them onto the memory chips directly :)

  • hehe also enjoy your new cooler has it made alot of difference to your computers noise levels?

  • yes...the computer is VERY quiet. also.....what passive cooling would you recommend for athlon 64 5600+ (dual core) AM2 socket?

  • i did not install it o the board...i installed it on a RAM piece that is double sided or something.....my graphics card has RAM on both sides as a mater of fact. the stock cooler only covered the ones that were on the side of the gpu. i put a sink on one of the ones in the back

  • ohh yeah sorry i forgot radeon cards have memory chips on the back also hehe sorry i thought you were installing it on a nvidia card :D

  • Nice video man. I wanted to see someone with S1, since I am planning to put on the 8800GT.

  • ohh im glad you enjoyed the video :D. im using 2 of these on 2x geforce 6800 ultras in sli but the thing you have to remember is that the cooler is very big and it covered my sli connector so i had to buy one of those flexable sli bridges to make sli work, just bear that in mind. just make sure you have good airflow through your case :D

  • Haha, thanks for the heads up. But I do not think that I will go for a SLI, due to my favors of Intel P35s and above. I will stick two 120mms on that bad boy, and boom, there goes Crysis beaten up with 8800GT all over his face!

  • hehe thx alot mate :D

  • not just the cooler,

    even you also silent..

    hehe. nice job

  • I concur with you. Not even a noise is heard.

  • haha thx alot mate! :D

  • I;m not techno enuf for this, but you have nice hands!

  • hand fetish

  • You will need the Turbo Modules for maximum cooling effect (the improvement justifies the price and yeah I don't work for AC).

This thing is notable for cooling but weighs 290g! If Turbo Modules are used, it will be as heavy as 360g. That cooler exerts a force on the video card greater than a can of coke!

  • Screw Turbo Modules! Two 120mm or Two 100mm will dominate those two tinies in cooling by significantly. I would recommend getting atleast 1 silent 120mm, since noise levels are your problem.

  • erm the reason why i bought this cooler is that i wanted to keep the noise levels down as all my components in my pc are passively cooled so the gpu cpu and nb coolers have no fans just heatsinks so it keeps the noise down and also the 6800 ultra gets very hot

  • why would y0u need cooling for a 6800?
