Analyze their solo's and you'll realize what makes Joe, Joe. Brecker is great at making easy stuff really hard, playing it at light-speed, and he's amazing, one of my favorites. But Joe, he has a way of playing that is completely different. You can see the melody in his solos (Not obviously, you have to look for it) and he phrases perfectly. He's not so "In-your-face" like brecker, but he doesn't need to be.
