Because I see in your video that you jump straight up and I find it quite hard to do it with a controller. o_O Or do you use the A+B to air dash quickly?

To do the 5CC 5D cancel, you just do the 5CC as normal, then TAP 5D. If you push 5D for too long, you'll end up wasting frames. The timing is somewhat tricky to learn, but once you learn the timing it's quite easy to do.
Keep in mind this is only available in "original" mode and not "arcade" mode.
My PS2 has been about 8000 miles away from me for 2 months now, but you can expect more videos as soon as I get ahold of it again. Kohaku and Shiki will be up next.

Take into account many modifications will be needed to be made

Really? From the matches I've played on the Ver.B cabinets, you can simply hold a crouchguard in the opposite face and you'll be set.
