i've never used a diffuser, but from all the videos i've seen with diffusers, it seems that the bongs get filled slower with smoke, but the smoke is extremely compact!

I imagine that would filter a lot of THC. Look up NORML's bong study. They hypothesized that THC's sticky nature was what made filtration unhelpful with regards to the tar:THC ratio.

To be honest i can't give you one other than my own word, it's never seemed to screw with the potency of my hits before.. put it this way, i'm pretty positive it doesnt take out thc, as for what you were referring to, i checked it out. It MAY or may not filter out some cannabinoids, although if it does, certainly not enough to notice. Besides which I'd much rather have a tiny insignificant change in the quality of my bud and have clean lungs than the other way around..
