You can tell it is a fake birth because the foal didn't have a sack around it there was no fluid and the foal was way to dry when it was first born

You know, the birth scene of the foal, it was as realistic as they could make it. I don't them to do it exactly how its meant to be. But I thought they did it as well as they could. Lets just enjoy the show and not comment on how realistic or unrealistic it is. It doesn't take away from the show-I thought everything was done really well in the birth scene.

Do the foals actually come out that clean?

foals come out covered in slime and the sac that they're protected in. if the foal doesn't break the sac off when their born, the mother will break it for them so they can breathe. they will be really wet and stuff probably sticks to them easily. the mother will, once the sac comes off, lick the foals to help them dry. it usually takes a few hours to look as clean as the foal in this episode so its definitely not realistic
