It's a direct parody of the real organisation Exodus International. Direct quote from their website "We believe that God wants to heal homosexuals through His church.". It's very real and very strange and doesn't work.
Poor annanomoly, no one read this thread closely and they all think that you didn't get the joke. EVERYONE: annanomoly is saying that the REAL organizations like this are disgusting, not this video. if you read the whole conversation you'll get that.
thanks samusamu. to be honest i didn't watch the whole video at first or i would have realised it was a parody of something. after watching this i've seen/heard the phrase "pray the gay away" used quite often
read it more carefully. annanomoly liked it. what he/she was saying was that he was worried this WASN'T a joke. then someone mentioned a thing called "pray the gay away" which disgusted annanomoly because it's so ridiculous.
