i have this amp, it's average for home practice. I'm gonna sell it and get something smaller and less LOUD. If you play gigs, this is PERFECT; loud, good clean channel, and affordable. this tone is great here. Have you had any problems with this amp dropping in volume on you? Mine drops in volume, so I tilt it, and it comes back. could be that the one tube is dying maybe. have you ever replaced the tube?
Is this good for metal such as MetallicA, A7X, Anthrax, Megadeth, Dragonforce, etc.

@tooglu Its a spring. I have this amp its good. I use it with a pod x3 to get a good analog/digital sound.

You need a footswitch with two buttons, First: clean/any distortion selected by the second button, second: dist1/dist2.
