the trigger is located on his left rib case. its about a 2 second delay before the smoke reaches his hand. the smoke blows out something under the top part of his arm, so if asked to pull his sleeves up, he can do so without revealing the device. the trick is his sleeves. the smoke travels down a sleeve til it reaches his hand. the effect is that he will tilt his left hand to where you wouldn't see his palm. the smoke comes and his hand will always be that way. illusion folks
Myself and thousand others will soon be spending allot of money on this just in the aim of entertaining folks. Don't you think it's kinda disrespectful to not only the buyers, but more so to the creator who spent 5 years developing this thing. just so you could have your 1 paragraph of glory which made you feel smart?
Whether you know how a trick is done or not is beside the point (no reason not to buy it). It's the audience who have no idea what the hell just happened. If you apply misdirection flawlessly, no one would pick up how its done. Buy the gimmicks (or whatever is needed) if you think you can utilise it in your arsenal. If your crowd goes nuts, fantastic, it did it's job. So many people keep wanting to know how a trick is done, then go spoiling it for everyone else.
look at 20 and 21 second he elbows his side to make smoke come out of his sleeve and does it again at 31-33 seconds and actually touched it with his hand at 44- 46 seconds hes pressing something in his jackt nice illusion
@mydoghasfleasdude i dont think that you seeing him "trigger" the device is reason not too buy. When I saw him perform this that day I missed it EVERY time. The misdirection in most the routines is built in and I only caught it once going back and reviewing the vid. There are certainly more than a few ways to trigger the smoke and hide the action. -josh
@WeSession i guess i shouldnt say i wont buy this one, its still a very cool, for lack of a better word, gimmick, but i just dont really like that kind of gimmick. is there a price on this yet?
@dookiekong007 there is a setup for doing this in short sleeves. jason discusses it in this interview we did with him last week... /watch?v=cHW8LpeVXTk
