It wasn't a five star sort of film, but I really enjoyed it; enough so to watch it whenever it came on late night:) Also, the song, "Lucky Day In Hell," by The Eels was really cool. You could tell it was one of those films that Matthew Modine would have done because his star power was waining, but for JRM, it was an about to arrive sort of film. I liked it well enough to buy the DVD. I found it at Sun Coast, here, but it had to be ordered.

Matthew Modine is an icon, it had nothing to do with diminishing "star power". That film had a pretty impressive cast for an indie, most of which probably signed on 'cuz they liked the script. Another good film like it, with an impressive cast, would be American Perfekt.

I think Robert Forster was a better coin flipping psycho in that than Javier Bordem in No Country For Old Men.
