I play the tin whistle and accordion...and I must say that this reel is somewhat difficult to play on the whistle...I think you do an excellent performance here...and you're a very handsome man - which is a bonus :)
jaysus that was good!!!!!!! i have been playing the whistle nearly 10 years now and i just have to say that that sounded brilliant!!! i never would have thought you have been only playing a few months! Hats off!!!!!!! keep it up!!!!
I have been playing tin whistle for 8 years and I can tell you that I started playing like you are doing in this video after 2 or three years; jesus you are good man! keep it up!
What? A tin whistle? If so, you're in Ireland, aren't you? You could search on internet for "Feadog" or "Waltons Music", they both make irish whistles in Ireland and I think you can buy one online for less than u$s 10 or u$s 15.
I wanted to say that my version isn't very original to be sincere. As far as I know this tune is commonly played on fiddle/flute/tin whistle. On the other hand, I've never heard a version like yours. It's incredible, I can't stop hearing it!! Regards.
great little piece of whistling

This reel rocks! Search in my favorites, there is a girl (Lana) who plays it on accordion, she's really good.

Very nice playing! This isn't an easy tune to cover on a whistle. I usually play this on mandolin or banjo.

This is really well done, especially for 5 months (I've been playing for almost a year and am nowhere near that good!)

please can you say where did you find the tab??
Digaoo91 4 years ago
Sure, search on Google: "tinwhistler", on that site you should search by the letter T: "Tamlin (transposed for easy whistle playing)". Good luck!

It's very good. When it was 5 months after I started playing whistle I couldn't play like this.
