thank you so much i only read sheet music and iv only started playing piano because my major calls for 2;3 years of paino but God has been puting it on my heart to realy lear and help out at my Grandparents church but you know clasical music is diffrent and i dont play by ear so im realying having a hard time theses vidios have realy helped me your speaking my language..i understand the cards better when u talk about root and seventh cords thanks so much
hey wats up doc.. i was wonderin if u could lay down the chords for the song look at all the times by lsg ft faith evans coko, and missy... i would appreciate it God bless
Good stuff...only musicians who are experienced should learn at this pace. If your not experienced with different chords, its better to get proper training such as gospel piano lesson dvd's, or something in that era so that your not complaining about the pace of how he's teaching....
nice my man. please dont stop doing this and taking time out of your busy schedule, cause all of your videos have been helpful and very easy to understand.
not many people know what aversion(?) and other terms are so that is why they were asking for you to slow that down. But otherwise you are a blessed musician.
I don't disagree with you at all cause that is so true. As a matter of fact I thank you for explaining it for me But I don't want people to make the same mistake and just try to learn chords to songs. I did that and it set me back for a while cause I know I need to know the basics like the names of these chords. If you don't know that FAC is a F chord or CEG is a C chord, then something is wrong. LOL I believe that is one of the first things to learn BEFORE trying to learn songs. Be blessed!
Amen to that!! So many who play by ear have no clue what they are doing or why. You have just simply got to have a good foundation or you will just be building on mistakes that will translate to everything else you try to do. Learning the how and why will help you to translate what you learn to other songs and keys.
