Mac ... I thought I had seen most of your videos but this one must have slipped through the net. Absolutely great tune and performance. What are the keys of the two harmonicas ?.
@tradharp Thank you for the message and comments. The first part is in G, the second part is in C - straight harp and I think they are both Hohner Special 20's.
Grand old tune, very well done. Love your style. Reminds me of family get-togethers when my dad and all his family played fiddles, guitars, pianos, spoons, or what-have-you. No music like it. Thanks.
Loved it! Especially the cadenza at the end. I wish I had an atractive admiring woman like that to accompany me. I have to make do with Band in a box.
Thank you for the comments!! We did make a CD in 'o3. It's not strictly old time. You can check it out on our website. Our 2nd CD is about 3/4 finished - maybe by spring.
Thank you for the comments!! I don't know any more than you do about the polka orchestra version. I think the country singer Doc Williams played and sang it as a theme song for his radio show in Wheeling West Virginia many moons ago.
I just posted a video of my dad playing silver bells on the fiddle and myself on piano...(jim bright) and came across your video. It is so neat watching u...ur music is great and you two are soooooo cute together! Check out my dad...he is 91...the four of us together could really jam! lol1
I'm so happy I have found your channel!

A little bit of " muß I denn, muß I denn, zum Städtele hinaus "( wooden heart , Elvis)
but absolutely great. The change between the two harmonicas is fantastic.
Best regards
