@Gestaposaurus I beg to differ, the band This Will Destroy You is some what similar to EITS genre wise, but even when placed in the same genre they both have different utensils and techniques that make their music unique. Give TWDY a shot, they're amazing as well.

This has almost a very similar texture (apart from brief string interruptions) to the song 'fly a kite' from the last scene of the kite runner... different melody though. Check "The ugly facts of life" from the friday night lights OST as well, that's actually the exact song from the kite runner movie when amir reads hassan's letter lol
