Have it on original 12" - no record player! Anyone frequent Boxes in Exeter late 79/80? Thank you Rob, Chris, Froggy and of course the living legend obbie Vincent now back on JazzFM.....
@akinsankofa from 1978 untill 1989 I used to get all my jazz/funk/soul records from the Top Ten record shop in Selly Oak, it was the only shop we knew were the staff were really into Jazz/funk/soul. All the U.S imports were available upon asking. You could go in have a coffee and chat whilst listening to the new stuff that week, Brilliant! Needless to say I have this on U.S 12" Import, bought it whilst they were over here on the 'World is a Ghetto' tour with 'Blood Sweat and Tears' both Awesome!
@thefourthfunkateer I used to live on the Handsworth side of Birmingham at that time - I wish I'd known about that shop at the time - your import 12" would be a real collector's item now.

Gilles Peterson sent me. Took awhile to find that this was a "special US disco version". Love it!
