Mike Campbell came in1974 from South Africa to buy land.
This is why to claim that he did not steal anybody's land, Mike Campbell is telling us that the Government signed a certificate of no interest post 1980. The reason that a South African army captain with no experience and no collateral could get a loan to buy 12,000 hectares of land in Zimbabwe, was because the racist colonial and UDI governments were desperate for whites to own all the land in Zimbabwe - the 'White Man's Country' designation. That's why Mike Campbell ended up with 12,000 hectares in Chegutu.

Combined with irrigation, this will make Zimbabwe selfsufficient in food production for the first time in Zimbabwe or Rhodesian history.
There is a reason people in Zambia mightily resisted being joined with Rhodesia, and it was the settlers and their behavior. Even at 2%, they appropriated 47% of the country for themselves. Obviously, this has to be reversed in Zim, SA, etc.

Europeans do whatever they want to innocent Blacks/Africans or Brown people in the name of rule of law. I have seen it many times. The extreme violent deportations that has been going since the 80's never gets media attention. I could you a very long list of European racism going on until today. The UN has EU/US highest on the Racism list. The EU/US just ignores it like it is normal in their countries. The African are tired of complaining, so now they just ignore EU/US slandering.

The British & other Europeans praised Cecil Rhodes for capturing the territory. They named the territory after him which is known to you Europeans as Rhodesia (Rhodes + Area) meaning Rhodes Area. After decolonization headed by Robert Mugabe, the Africans changed the name back to what they have always called that territory, Zimbabwe. I wish life was so easy & truthful, but what happened in Zim is a very complicated story. I will never support the justification of violence by Zanu PF or from anyone to settle land issues even though the Europeans did 100 times worst. The Land issue with Zim is very clear. The Lancaster House agreement required the British to pay Zims & British settlers/farmers who will be affected by Zim's Land reform. The British govt were paying & they suddenly stopped under Tony Blair....

She stated that "we do not accept that Britain has a special responsibility to meet the costs of land purchase in Zimbabwe. We are a new government from diverse backgrounds, without links to former colonial interests." That was when the chaos began in Zimbabwe. The Africans started kicking the Europeans out of their houses & farms to compensate for the abrupt payments from the UK govt.

Bro, you should know that my comments & this clip is referring to Zim. I will remind you that SA is not part of Europe, nor is it an annex of Europe or any European territories. If I was an European living in Europe, I will believe the misinformed "revised Boer history" you just typed. Fortunately, I am an educated African who is well versed in African history. As a matter of fact, the Europeans once heavily occupied the whole African continent not just SA. Europeans pretty much used the excuse, the land was unpopulated & barren everywhere they occupied with no respect of the natives already living there. They repeat the same excuse for the US, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zea Land. The fact that Europeans could abandon Europe & take risky migration shows how extreme they are. It must be about land grab & resources. The Southern tip of S.Africa(Agulhas) were darkskin before the European invation by Jan Van Riebeeck in1652. The light skinblacks came out of mixing due to a 1000yrs earlier arrival of Phoenicians(shipwreck) who mixed with the Nama tribe & had Khoikhoi.The Koisan, griqua, Grinkhoina Hessequa are the result of submission to invasion. @forevah interesting info thanks, btw actually lol i was going to admit to you that i lied, sorry lol... when the dutch landed in south africa there were some blacks living there i think they were pigmys and the dutch almost wiped them out exterminated them after they couldnt be used to help farming - but when the dutch moved north into whats now zimbabwe they settled in areas where there were no blacks thats a fact i think

Bro, why are you still thinking & assuming like most Europeans do? Your thoughts are very wrong.There was the Kingdom of Zimbabwe when the Europeans arrived. Within that kingdom, there was a subset kingdom of Ndebele who had a king called "Lobengula." The Ndebele kingdom was established as a result of Lobengula's father being driven northwards(Zim) from the South (SA) by the Dutch Boers who were the colonizers.

To the cut the long history short. Lobengula was tricked by Cecil Rhodes. Lobengula sign a deal to allow few of Cecil Rhodes men to dig for "yellow dirt" which you Europeans call gold. Since Lobengula could not read & write English, he signed a document that allowed his territory to be taken over & colonized by the British. Lobengula later found out & his army tried to resist, but were overpowered by the British SA company.

Yet the Africans don't cry wolf. They take the abuses because no one in Europe wants to hear their pleas because of the feeling guilty. This is why to claim that he did not steal anybody's land, Mike Campbell is telling us that the Government signed a certificate of no interest post 1980. However note that he clearly says the certificate was only for one of his farms and he doesn't tell you that he bought the land under the white supremacist Government of Rhodesia in the middle of a civil war.

All I know is that if I still lived out there and someone/ some people set foot on my land without my permission the only evidence left of their existence would be in pieces of crocodile excrement at the bottom of lake Kariba. No I'm deadly serious. But where I live now if you set foot on my land without my permission I'd probably get you a beer and inquire as to how your day is going.
