Dear Richard, The Wall went up once again in Toronto, Canada, on the second anniversary of your leaving us. David and Roger are talking and performing together from time to time. Who would have thought all this would happen. Rest well, Angel. You are in the music and our hearts forever. RIP

Rick is still the best keyboard player that earth had produced.
I listen to this song everyday in my car when i go to work n i put a smiling on my face each time coz each meaning of each word in this song is so magical!
The older people like my parents who played records just don't understand what they had. They love cd's because of their convenience. I would love to have experienced TDSOTM and WYWH and meddle and the wall and all the rest, as they came out. I can't imagine the awesomeness of putting on a brand new Floyd record on the turntable, turning down the lights, and going to whatever place the record took me.
I sucks for everyone, but for me, I got into Pink Floyd in early 07". Then Rick died in 08". Pink floyd is almost all I listen to. Rick and Dave have so much feeling in there music. All I can do is look back and see what greatness has already been done and I feel like I'm missing something that cannot be gotten.
this song has grew on me so much i belive i love it more than C. Numb but gilmour on the chorus makes this live version ten times better than the studio version with the chick on the background vocals
@strangerintheq: in this video.. the light, the white shirt, his incredible sweet voice, Richard just seems like an angel... and he is an angel now. We miss him so much, r.i.p.
Had no idea they played this song at Mermaid Theatre, it's one of my favorite Floyd songs... a small tear came to my eye, the good kind of tear. Thank you Rick and David.
Miss you so much Rick, so does everyone. Your soft, tender voice and moody atmospheric keyboards are both truly one of a kind.
I can also relate to the words you speak in this song, which i am almost sure is about Rick's cocaine addiction period. Coke was not my DOC but i still can relate so much... it almost hurts esp with Mr. Wright dead.
"The Division Bell" was recorded in 1994, and Richard Wright was back into the group for this album and he performed "Wearing The Inside Out" (a song he wrote) all the other songs are performed by David Gilmour.
God I miss Rick soooo much. No one can play the keyboards like him ='[ (No offense to Rick Wakeman). PF will always by the greatest in my eyes. I'll never forget you Rick (or Syd!) you truly got me to love music. R.I.P. boys ='[
This was the first song that I listened to when I first heard that Rick had passed, this song and the Live Version of Breakthrough that Rick did with David. Rest In Peace Rick
Rick is still alive and well, youtube has immortalised him.. thank god for modern technology, may all who have passed on remain with us with youtube.. lets hope youtube never dies.
RIP Richard Wright. music will never be the same without you. God must have really wanted piano lessons.

I like the way this sounds with the male voices replacing the female voices that were heard on the album. Great song any way it's sung, though.
We miss you, Rick!
