I'd say the clubman holds about 4-6 hours. It starts to droop in about 10 min even without touching it so don't be afraid to really twist it up when you do it because it will look more natural shortly.

I have a question, How long does the wax usually last? I'm at school for 12 hours, so I need something that lasts, or now that I think about it, I could just bring it with me.

@TheMrLard it can last pretty well if it isn't touched, but if its 12 hours, then you'll probably eat and drink in that time, and if it gets wet, that can affect it. So wouldn't hurt to bring it with you.

That is very impressive.

Some notes -

1 - it does hang over your mouth and get food in it.

2 - it is very tempting to pull and stroke it, which usually leads to skin irritation.

3 - when you shave that thing off , make sure you trim it low then shave it off.

4 - when the shaving is done, it feels so smooth and airy, but one must be sure not to grow the stiff post-beard stubble or pain will ensue.

That is a solid moustache/head of hair, sir! I found that wax at Fred Meyer (if youre on the west coast). I am unable to grow ANY kind of significant facial hair except moustache/goatee. My moustache isnt the thickest but it does curl perfectly nice on its own. You win some, you lose some :)

@MattandHaileigh Sorry, I don't have any tips on growing a thicker mustache. Some people say that every time you shave it off, it comes back a bit thicker. I have had a beard for several years and I usually keep it trimmed short. I maybe shave it totally off once a year or so. Not sure if that has helped somehow. Thanks for watching!

@MattandHaileigh Try Nioxin shampoo, it's for your hair but it actually does thicken your hair. It won't make more hair grow but it thickens the hair that you do have.

Are there any alternatives to moustache wax? Does hair wax work the same? I ask 'cause there aren't any shops that have it in SE Asia.. I guess cause not a whole lotta folks can grow a proper one down here.

I had always used wax on my 'stache, but it would droop pretty quickly no matter how much I used. So, I bought Got2B glued, instead.

It's a little hard to wash out at the end of the day, but it holds like a champ, which helps because of all the ladies that maul me wanting to touch it every day. ;)

@midgetgooch619 thanks! well i've had a beard for several years, but I usually keep it trimmed short with a beard trimmer. This was the only time I let it grow this long. I did it over winter, so I think it took about 3 months after starting from a short beard, so maybe 4 months total.

I've a question, does the color of the wax make a mustache look differently, i mean , any actual color change of a mustache? i've seen many colors of the wax on the market, and many of them are black, brown, or neutral .

@AndrewSamStories I haven't seen the different colors, but it sounds like they are colors designed to cover up gray hair. So I'd guess that the wax would remain that color after it dries. Could make an interesting effect if you used a color other than your hair color :-)

Try Handlbars brand or Firehouse brand, it will stay all day long and not droop when wet. Much much better than Clubman
