It is ironic how she is famous in the Uk for her acting but in the US Fanny made a bigger impact. There ought to be a Fanny Kemble Exhibition in the UK.

As relatives, we were invited to go to LA/Hollywood to watch the Premiere but we couldn't go, I was on gardening leave and being made redundant, what a missed opportunity, although the producer kindly sent us a VIDEO.

I bought this film after watching your video and truly it is a very good film and very in the same spirit as Doctor Quinn. Jane is amazing as always.

Fanny is my relative! We were invited to the Launch of the Film in the US, couldnt go there as was made redundant

I agree! I saw this movie some years ago and was so moved I wrote a review on imdb. com. I had a person respond to me 7 years later thanking me and telling me all about her family, which were related to the original Kembles. She wrote:
"Kemble means 'royally bold - will do that which is right in the face of danger.'"
What more could we ask for and aspire to? One of my favorite films of all time.
