I have been trying to remember the name of this band for YEARS, and I never had any luck finding out who they were, but always remembered this song & the video. The lead singer Shellee is just gorgeous, and what a voice. I don't understand how they only managed to make one CD/album. Now I will be looking for a copy of it. Thanks so much for posting all the videos!
@73formula doubt you will find it. They made one CD then disappeared like they never existed. I called Nashville, their record label and countless other places. The only thing I was told was some of the members found religion.
@ranka35 I am not sure, they played at the fair here back in sept. But as far as Randy is concerned... he is done with the live shows.... He has a recording studio here with Kevin King... that is where I record my music....I have known Randy for prob 9 years now....Randy is still a cutie! HAHA
I've been a Country Club DJ in Nashville TN for over 22 years and remember the days back in 93 when Twister Alley released this song and CD, the rest is history :) I still play this song and now music video atleast once every weekend at a club called Silverado's (The original one on Murfreesboro Rd) and this song ALLWAYS packs the floor to a dance we've been doing for over 30 years in Nashville called the Rebel Strut! *Great Friday song too! Also my Video version I took from VHS tape doesnt skip
man i loved this song i've had this song in my head for like ever lol awesome clogging song if i didnt have two left feet i'd try to dance to this lol
Wow. That brings back some memories. I just think that it is too bad that they disappeared after the first album. I really thought that they were going to be around for awhile.
Shellee Morris is the bomb babe. She still looks this good. Oh lord what I'd give to win her heart or just have her as part of my life. Yes I'm still smitten with her after all these years.
this video just makes one smile. we are clogging to this back in Virginia, to a really cool routine. thanks Twister Alley for such a cool song. carolyn
@ccclllddd my group clogs to this song too! i'm from western new york. i'm pretty sure its a national dance list song. the convention that i go to in Grand Island plays it and everyone knows it no matter where they are from!
omg i haven't seen guys in sooo long! gorious cowboys!!! lol. too bad we can't see them anymore? one hit wonders for country music. i also remember another band in the early 90's called Six Shooter. they also didn't stay long.
The video was filmed at the old Amtrak Station in Ft. Worth, TX. My wife and I were asked to bring several of our dance class students to be on the video. In the video - I am the on with the blue, black & white striped shirt. They got a great shot of us doing a drop during the "Hit 'em Low" segment. For payment, we all got a VHS video and a CD with the radio and Dance Mix of the song. It was fun!!
When this song came out, I was working in Kamloops, B.C. One of the women working at the same place taught line dancing with her boyfriends. She told me they couldn't have their students dance to the beat on Dance because it was too fast. They had to dance on every second beat.
Thanks for posting the video. I had this copied on an old VCR tape me kid found and wanted to see it. I was the male dancer in the video starting at 0:52. Kids thought it was funny to see dad (skinny) dancing.
Great to hear this again. Used to drive home from work on Friday nights with this turned up to eleven. Thanks for posting. Will try to find a CD copy so that I can play it on my Country Radio show.

Loved this song and this video, and always thought this group was cute; never understood why they didn't get more airplay in the Atlanta area.
