  • EPIC. My wife loved how they did a time lapse of NY, in the Movie Ghost Town. Great video. :)

  • This is why the city never sleeps!

  • haha, I was going to write that exact comment, nice vid!

  • Queensbridge!

  • Very cool, that looks like 23rd st and Sty-town/peter cooper vill so I take it you did this from one of those two tall apt buildings on the other side of the FDR.

  • Yes! There are actually four tall buildings.

  • Well done

  • kool

  • wow it never stops does it?!

  • I had this cool idea to find a set of pictures for a 24-hour time lapse and use them as my desktop wallpaper, with it changing throughout the day according to when the pictures were taken. Is there any chance you could post the original photos somewhere or send them to me??

  • really nice!! you should add some music for a background

  • no, music makes everything looks bad. Especially mediocre/beyondmediocre

type in any gameplay, it is ruined because there's is not only sound. Which they have bad taste, or they use overused.

  • dat gets pertty when the lights come on.

  • really cool, i just wish it would have been a bit slower.

  • The city that never sleeps!

  • trippy

  • cool, I like those boats coming in an out of the dock, really nice!

  • very nice, thanks for sharing !

  • this might be a stupid question, but how can you have 24 hour non stop footage? do you not run out of film/dv tapes/memory/battery?

  • i think it should have been recorded directly on a hard drive

  • Cool video but thats got to be the ugliest neighborhood in Manhatten. Like a chunk of soviet Russia right on the river.

  • Haha that chunk of soviet Russia is called Peter Cooper and Stuy Town. I grew up in one of those buildings and it's actually a beautiful part of the city. Appearances can be deceiving

  • why don't u check out Scemax dot com - best New Zealand movies!

  • did u not see Koyaanisqatsi?

some music would have made this better.

  • That movie was the inspiration for my time lapse videos!! Plus, Philip Glass is an amazing composer

  • I was commenting on someone's comment about Koyaanisqatsi

  • Anyway, Nice Job!! and I have no idea why commenting on other comments doesn't seem to be working.

  • The buildings we see are Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town at the corner of the FDR DRive and 23rd Street. Very cool. I used to live at Stuy Town so that was great to see.

  • was that a time laspe

  • great job!
