  • its my favorite scene from all the X-men movies, too bad they turned nightcrawler into comic relief after this scene.

  • I would give that agent a medal...

  • For some reason Nightcrawler just makes me smile. Maybe because he seems so insanely awsome ^-^! He reminds me of Voldo from Soul Calibur, an Avatar, and Dark Link all in one crazy body (with a pointy tail!) ... ... ... okay, maybe not ^-^.

  • @zingz1000 it's a German requiem by Mozart named "Dies Irae"

  • In comic books, azazel and mystique conceive nightcrawler. Hence the teleportation, the tail, and the blue on nightcrawler. Azazel could teleport across dimensions, but nightcrawler has to see an area first.

  • @ sings1000: Idk but Ludacris samples it in "Coming to America". Sick song.

  • wow it sux.

so much computer graphics everything looks so terribly fake. people flying all around, lol this movie is for 3 years old children.

  • Wats the name of the song? I know its mozarts but can't recall the name :(

  • Duh!!! But clever, I finally get it nightcrawler was able to see through the peep holes in the doors or glass doors, thus whatever he sees he teleports there

  • @bleachfan0797 you mean azazel that's nightcrawlers dad mistique is his mom look at the story online.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again! One of the best fight scenes I've ever seen! Always loved the Crawler.

  • BANF!

  • lol wat american agents using ak74u-s?

  • I always love Nightcrawler but did even more when I saw this. Growing up I liked Gambit then my love faded for him as Nightcrawler was the new badass.

  • Hes like that red guy from Xmen first class 2011 that he has a tail and moves place to place with that dust trail !

  • @Bleachfan0797 The man you are referring to is Azazel. Azazel is nightcrawler's father and Mystique is his mother. That is why he has blue skin and is able to teleport, it also explains the tail.

  • @Bleachfan0797 because the red guy in x men first class is his father Azazel they have the same powers and mystique is also nightcrawlers mother

  • X2 and The Dark Knight are the best comic adaptations. Iron Man is only good because of Downey Jr.

  • sorry to be a film dick but like... if he can only teleport somewhere in his line of sight, how did he teleport up and down the hallways in the first 20 seconds? there's no line of sight there.

  • @arunas137 It's not really line of sight. He only has to know where he's teleporting looks like.

  • @PyroRaven553 yeah direct quote from the film "i have to see where i'm going, or i could wind up inside a wall."

and it's a well known nerd fact that Nightcrawler can only teleport where he can see, he has to know where he's going else as he said, he would wind up inside a wall and just die.

  • @arunas137 aha But A - that's just the movie. try looking at the comics & series. & B - explain how he teleported into cerebro then? It IS possible for him. Give it some thought.

  • @PyroRaven553 read the comics, seen the series, in most media aside from maybe one shots and alternate universes where mutations may be different, he can only teleport within his line of sight and a distance of about a mile maximum, give or take, depending again on the series in question. and he teleported into cerebro as some "miracle", hence the praying beforehand. it was just some cheap stab at a miracle by the creators of the film, nothing more, nothing less.

  • Just

    Fucking

    Epic!

    The music, the pacing, everything.

  • Nightcrawler is my favorite x-man.

  • JACKIE LEAVE

  • Allen Cumming was awesome as Nightcrawler.

  • BAMF

  • Why Nigthcrawler try to kill President ?

  • @xsf908

to unleash a war between mutantama and people ...

  • @Scorp180 And he had no choice. Striker put some mind controlling potion thing.

  • @xsf908 He was under the influence of Stryker, acting against his will =P

  • Way to go Special Agent @ 2:09. If we lived in a world w/ actual X-Men I'd WANT them locked down until we had a way of enforcing the rule of law on them. All the X-Men whining about how they are persecuted when in reality the NON-X-men are the only ones who truly have anything to fear.

Doesn't anybody else see this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!!

  • Now this is how you start a movie!!!! DAMMMMMMMN!

  • love it! 0:59 to 1:06 is my fave part on this scene.. still love the whole thing lol

  • Yeah one of the best intro...

Nightcrawler shows the best action skills of the mutants; he's the bomb in this movie.

  • Ahh... Mozart's Dies Irae! A Masterpiece worthy of this masterpiece of a movie scene. Wouldn't you agree?

  • @MadaraUchihaAkat

    Of course I agree:)

  • I remember when i first start watching the cartoon and read the comic books,i was not a big fan of his mutation capabilities.

But when i see that in the movie i totally changed opinion....

  • Mastique is nightcrawlers mom saw it on the

    cartoon :)

  • He is dexterous with his tail, she is dexterous with her feet. He is super agile, she is super flexible. Both fighting styles are strong and entertaining. Genes <3

  • Incredible scene!!!! Nightcrawler is great! Loved the entire series! Thanks for posting this.

  • Using music by mozart was remarkably apropriate. Dies Irae is one of my favorite pieces by him anyway.

  • I always thought he had some of Mystiques powers the way he camoflogued at the Begginging

  • What a Scene!!

  • Since Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Man, this scene brings me indescribable joy every time I watch it. The teleporting, the fighting, and especially the music truly did this magnificent character justice...now if only he hadnt vanished as soon as the third movie came out...

  • This is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. Nightcrawler is so badass.

  • Day of Wrath is the perfect song for that scene...The best part of that movie.

  • it was like a smyphony of asskickery ..

  • what's this song please?

  • It's the third movement from Mozart's Requiem mass in D minor, AKA, the "Dies Irae" ("Day of Wrath").

  • what's this song??

  • i remember this ....... they couldnt have made a better intro ..... fucking badass

  • Put disc in

    Press Play

    Watch this scene

    Press stop

    Take disc out

Thats basically the only thing I do with my X2 DVD

  • agree :D

  • I bet I beat you, in that I would do the same but play the scene 10 times over.

  • wanna hear something real badass? i know all his parts, logan's parts and i know the kitchen scene word for word from when Logan starts talking to the kid watching TV to when action starts. NOW THATS SAD!!!! hahahahah

  • And that, class, is how you kick a movie off with style. Any questions?

Nightcrawler is a BAMF! If you can pardon the pun.

  • nightcrawler is a F***ing BEAST!!!!!!

  • Gotta say this is definitely one of the most epic movie intros ever!
