How long time does it take for the batteries to run out?

@Zhakron According to the documentation, it will last one year turned on continually, or 14 days continually broadcasting every 10 minutes. I carry a set of four additional Everready Lithium which have 20 year shelf life... it's all pretty amazing stuff. I've had mine for two years and it's still on the origional batteries. Hope this information helps.

There are other sat messengers where you can use your smart fon to send text messages IDK about recieve but you can send for sure. The old skool devices can be had for $75US a copy Amazon. That tracking deal would be great if you have teens or use vallet parking and want to know where your car is. When you send you can choose up to 10 people to have on your list so if you get some folks that are too buzy to check you have better chance of them knowing you are cool. Great video man.
