This is original PSX lens?? Or do you insert pc cd drive??

@Cyva1996 I insterted PC cd drive. But, it did not work... It is too hard to get the distance right for the laser diode to focus. So, instead I will just replace the motor. I have it working at the moment, but I am just doing tests on it to make sure it will not break.

your webpage could take some advantage on "be up to date"...
and i have gotten in contact with the german modder for the slot in drive mod before.
he still has got it and doesnt want to sell it.
i am modding to on ps1, but not to play, only audiophil and an slot in drive made out of the original drive would be awesome :)

@daniel070487 yea, it is hard to keep it updated. It is not a blog really, but all HTML hardcoded in. The German modder does not want to sell it, and he said in the end he just managed to get it running hanging by a thread. lol. As an Audiophile player then, it would be top to have! Expect the SLD drive soon...

@daniel070487 Sure! I am all for it. I have a SCPH-1002, so I will test it on that after I test it on a 5502. I plan to only make 5 of these drives, as I need to focus on my other project. I will keep one, installed in a console, so 4 really. Unless someone buys the console one day...
