  • awesome, another railfan using a REAL radio!!!!! I have ham radios too. take a look at my videos i show my radios in them too!!!!

  • do you know where i can get one of those railroad scanners?

How do you know what frequency to be on?

  • It is in WV

  • No, its in northern Kentucky

  • Is that a 2 radio

  • What?

  • @cornej92 I think BLAKEamtrak was asking if it was a two-way radio. And I'm actually interested to know. Is it?

  • @claimless Yes and no. It is an amateur radio that has extended receive so I can pick up railroad channels. I cannot transmit on railroad frequencies but I can transmit on legal amateur radio frequencies.

  • that radio is a yaesu vx-6

  • Is that one CSX unit a GP30?? I thought those were long dead..

  • Its now part of a slug set with a GP40-2.

  • wow a actual caboose.. geez,... didn't know they still existed

  • CSX still uses quite a few for yard jobs

  • @flir67 ya they still exist. Check out my video switcher with caboose.
