I love their individual quirks. The gypsy guy sports such a typical gypsy moustache, the black dude's funny (he reminds me of Tuvok in Star Trek :p), and I love the singer's expression at the end when the trumpet stops.

I'd like there to be a live dvd. I'm sure they'll do one.

They come to Australia every so often, as one of them is Australian, so I'm sure to catch them. The last time they were here, I hadn't developed my taste for French music at that point.

Haha, yeah, I have a love-hate relationship with the French language. I guess I only hated it because everyone else blabbered on and on about its beauty - which sickened me. But I learnt to love it on my own :)

Indeed,the trumpet player,David Lewis is Australian and is very well regarded in France.He collaborated to various projects and sometimes brings his magic 2 other bands.Paris Combo are in studio working on new material,i cant wait to hear their new songs.Regards from a French fan.

I think they are very much loved all over the world and people are still discovering who they are.Their last world tour took them to the States,Middle East,and everywhere in Europe.....Im sure their developping reputation will lead them to becoming what they already are:one of the best acts in the world..

The video becomes out of sync when the bugle solo begins. What we need is many many more Paris Combo live videos like this one on Youtube. Plus Paris Combo may enjoy playing in my native Canada.

Not to take anything away from this fine group, but the soundtrack is not what is being played "live" in the video. You are right that in the instrumental solo the music doesn't match the notes being fingered on the horn, but then the video shows DL playing a flugelhorn, while the sound on the track is positively that of a trumpet. The flugel looks much cooler.
