Dude, you're a 100% right. I rememeber when I 1st saw them I thought, "They don't look like they sound," then I said like two words to the lead singer about the club and he couldn't have been cooler.

Very underrated band, Up Them Guts, is one of the best records of the 00's.

His vocals are an acquired taste but they're pretty unique. It's like someone took a bulldog's bark put it in a smoke house for 3 months and buffed it with a cheese grater.

That last record is as flawless as a record can get. That is some angsty, angry, lovesick, heartbroken, wretching, seething, crawling, buring and occasionally nasty shit.

I'd hate to see them come back and ruin being one of the few bands that is able to leave on a high note.

good point, personally I think the album with copper and stars is the best. But at the same time Im glad for some stuff hot water did at epitaph, even tho I think the albums from no idea are, by far, their best stuff.

They don't sound a lot like Our Lady Peace, but his voice has a tonal similarity. i can't quite put my finger on it, he's much grittier, but it seems like it's got the same tinge on it.

They played a 3 song secret gig at The Fest and that's that. They are all doing their own thing. Maybe in the future, but as of now, and ten months ago, they are not making a comeback.
