The only problem with your idea is that when you bring Giratina into the wifi room, it removes the Griseous orb from Giratina.

Another problem: Diamond/Pearl cannot have Origin Form.

It is said that the Griseous Orb is taken from Giratina, Lustrous Orb from Palkia and the Adamant Orb from Dialga when you bring them in a room.

Wild guess: What if you give those items to another pokemon, trade it to another game (like HeartGold, SoulSilver) and also trade Giratina, Dialga and Palkia to give them their respective items after...will it work? Or are these items taken from any pokemon holding it?

@killerjon95 The only way to get the Griseous Orb on HG/SS is to get a Giratina on the Arceus event with Cynthia. The Griseous Orb is put back into your bag whenever you trade Girantina.

On Diamond I used 10 Ultra Balls on around my 6th attempt. To catch palkia/Dialga I save my Master Ball for Mesprit. That's a great tactic in my book, but you do it how you like to do it.

Mesprit and Cresselia are easy. Paralyze them and weaken them with a Scyther or other pokemon that knows False Swipe, then start using Quick Balls on every attempt.

I still haven't used my Master Ball on my Platinum save. I caught Giratina after having it paralyzed using Timer Balls.
