for sniping, like many players you aim with your right stick only most the time. you are only utilizing 50% of your movement control. instead of messing with trying to swing the reticle back an forth right to left, just use the left stick and strafe into your target. makes headshots much easier once you get the timing, plus you're moving so youre more difficult to hit.

You can go into the start menu and change several options such as sensitivity level (how sensitive the right thumb stick is), toggle crouch, controller configuration, screen brightness, and much more.

I play on a 37" HD Vizio. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1080p resolution. It's actually a very nice set that I got a Costco for $449. Unfortunately, I record in SD with my Dazzle Plus. I had saved up for a nicer capture device in HD, but then my Xbox 360 died and I had to break the bank for a new one. Hopefully I'll get an HD capture device for Christmas.

Thanks for your feedback. I do my best to provide the loudest volume possible, but I have to use a budget friendly mic and if I speak too loudly-too close to the mic, I get loud thumps from my breathing and pronunciation. I crank the volume up as loudly as possible, but I do have some limitations with my current equipment. I'll continue to strive to provide loud, clear commentary as best I can.

@HaloReachTutor Like I said though, that's my only real complaint. You have a clear enough voice despite the hardware, your commentary is useful although you go onto a lot of tangents in order to fill up space, and I enjoy the gameplay, especially you're use of active camo.

i use sensitivity 5, 3 is a bit too slow for me, and 5 has the quick reflex that i like... but once again we come back to the concept of what i like, and yes its 5. 5 is in the middle, meaning its steady enough yet fast enough. thats my opinion, i hope that many people realize the number means something, so adjust it to what you want by your determination of the number.

These videos are really insightful and prove that teamwork is the key in this game. Teamwork is something that a lot of gamers ignore in favour of a Rambo like approach, so its particularly refreshing when you meet people willing to play it as your team does. ..not directly. In fact, I think you get more or less the same number of credits per game win or lose, regardless of whether you play well or not. Bungie rewards gamers just for participating, and not necessarily for playing out of your mind. You do get credit for performing feats during the gameplay, but most of your total credits are proportionate to the amount of time you play regardless of your accomplishments.

If you are standing still, you recloak very quickly after shooting or tossing a grenade. I would say one second or less. I couldn't find Johnny Pew's channel. Can you send me a message with his channel link?

an active camo video, (i know you touch on it in a few of your vids, ) in depth would be cool. Like, can they see you when your in camo w/ a charged up plasma pistol or launcher? can they see you jump up/ down a small distance? how lond does it take to 'recloak'

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it very much. Concerning active camo. Glowing weapons ARE visible when you are in active camo, This includes the overcharged plasma pistol, the energy sword, and the sticky grenade launcher. Generally speaking, if you make small brief movements, you will only be partially visible and you will recloak quickly.

Keep in mind, when you scope in, you become vulnerable because you can't see your immediate surroundings and you also lose the radar. Therefor only scope in when you are going for a kill. You should rarely ever walk around looking for a target while scoped in, this is a bad idea. On a small map (like Asylum) the 5x scope is generally sufficient, but on larger maps, give the 10x scope a chance. Sometimes you don't have time to get past the 5x scope and have to take the shot quickly.

This is why active camo is ideal. You can be just about anywhere and be invisible. The camo will scramble your enemies radar so if you are sniping, try to stay far enough away that you enemies radar won't be disturbed and they won't be suspiciously looking for you.

Also, check out the heatmaps on bungie.net. Adjust the settings and you can see where players are most frequently standing on each map when they earn a kill with the sniper rifle (or any other weapon for that matter). These maps can be extremely valuable and give you excellent ideas for where to stand to pick up kills with the sniper, shotgun, sword, grenades, rockets, or anything else.
