hope u know u can only keep it for 2 weeks before it starts to go bad if u use it for a whole month then bacteria starts to build up even if u did disinfect every thing
I already have Glycerin from the Hobby store and it says it's not edible and to avoid direct contact with eyes. Is this the wrong kind of Glycerin, do I need the kind you would find in the baking isle? Thanks
so question if enkore have this tutorial already y eryone who watch da dude do it...feel they should redo it dred....smt....i jus watch his vid n nah you doin it...wut da hell.....lol anyway atleast ya set up was betta.....so yea props still!!!!way 2 go!!!....lol
believe it or not alot of ppl DONT know what mixing medium is and they don't watch EnKore. So for different ppl to have different videos up is a good thing. More ppl can learn about it. EnKore doesnt own this so it's not a crime for someone to make their own video about it
Thanks so much for doing this...Also i've seen splash around..can't remember where..but cool it's so pigmented..maybe it was the dollar store i saw it at too...Anyways, really good video..and well presented..:) I so hope i can get some glycerin..which i'm pretty sure I can..
Another thing i've heard that works is Visine...
Never tried it though..~ I usually just wet my brush..i'm lazy..lol..
do you think its okay to use mixing medium with mineral foundation for the face. My face is really sensitive and i tend to break out. so my question is, would you advise to use glycerin on your face?
Do u want to mix that with foundation or something...?
I wouldn't recommend either actually if that's what its for...If u have any kind of oily skin...then no...cause either one is made with some form of oil..and i don't thin its recommended for faces..I would think it would clog your pours..
glycerin is good for your face, it keeps moisture locked in. it's used in a lot of facial products.
i explained that horribly lol so i would say look up EnKoreMakeup's video called 'what is Fix+?'
but yes, mixing medium and mineral foundation is actually a good idea, i do that often and it seems to give me a smoother finish than just using the mineral foundation normally :)
Your voice is so pleasant and you are terrific at explaining things. Using the mixing medium does it help prevent creasing and what about waterproofing? What all does it affect? This is the first time I have watched you and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will watch again. Thanks again : O)
I'm not sure? Ive never heard of vegetable glycerin but check it out:) other than that I would stick with what's on this video cause I know this works and it's not harmful:)
i got the exact same bottle and i made my mixing medium and my face spray from EnKore as well. He is a genius and I just love him like I love you as well
not enkore. not good old koren. you know what he blocked me and i asked pursebuzz to see if she could get him to unblock me cuss i have watched pursebuzzes vids for ages but no result. well enkore is anoying anyway
i wish you had done a test at the end to see if the wet pigments stay on better after rubbing your wrist. maybe you could tell me whether or not the mixing medium improves the staying power?
The guy on enkore suggest that you dispose of your mixing medium after 2-4 weeks. Besides using the small amount because it lasts long the reason you want to not use much and dispose of it is because of the bacteria that starts growing in the mixing medium. If you look for Korens mixing medium video she talks about replacing the MM after 2weeks. She even shows the mossy stuff that grew in there after 3weeks. Really grosse
I can't wait to try this! I have a HUGE eyeshadow set that I got for Christmas. It's from JC Penny. The colors are EXTREMELY un-pigmented(haha, I don 't think that's a word) but they look very pretty in the container but dull on my skin. However, it will always fall out. Would mixing medium help that?
use that or use a base, cream eyeshadow, nyc jumbo white pencil, or urban decays primer.. if you want great make up for cheap .. go to ebay type in 120 or 88 palettes are great!!! way cheap.. and the pigment is way better..mac quality
grwat tutorial,i will go and pick me up a bottle and make my own instead of mac.now just with the blue sometimes you don't need the pigments but for those sluggish colors that drag on the brush and look pale,it would really give you a jump start with the intensity.xoxo muah!
I made some already, but my question is, what is the consistency that you should have? Mine is sort of watery...is that how it should be? I did do the one to three parts.

thank you candie!! I really have to have a candiecc video marathon because I didn't see this one! do you think that a syringe (like a cough syrup dropper or something)would be easier to use? to add the mixers? also you say not to dip it in your shadow is it ok to just apply the mixing medium right to your eye(sorry if that is a dumb question you know I am learning lol)
I made this mixing medium, but when I dip my brush into the loose powder with the MM on it and put it on my eye or my hand it gets clumpy and it sticks together...? Help?
